I am Érica Sena, a postgraduate psychologist, specializing in care for children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, groups, and individual sessions.
Naturopath, specializing in geotherapy, heliotherapy and phytotherapy.
Additionally, I am an agroecological farmer and bring to Projeto Eva the union between holistic health, care for the land and for people.
At Projeto Eva, volunteers will be welcomed with great respect, empathy and true affection. Here, everyone is treated with equality, without distinctions or prejudices. It is a safe space to be who you are, express talents and discover new possibilities.
Each volunteer will be encouraged to develop and enhance their personal abilities, both those already known and those not yet awakened.
We are forming the team with the volunteers themselves, who arrive bringing their knowledge, learnings and good intentions to contribute to the construction of this collective dream.

This volunteering experience marked a new chapter in my life. After a month living at Erica's site, I learned a lot from her philosophy about nature and people.❤️🌱 1. For Erica, the most important thing are her volunteers. She only gives you tasks that you like and can do. If you don't like an activity, she changes it. 2. The best: nature. There are incredible animal species and plants that are very varied. 🐒 3. The site is a humble place where there is everything you need, nothing more. Except for the Wi-Fi (there is a zone with a connection but far from the house) I did not miss anything.👍

The project the community was my first volunteering experience in the middle of nature, and it was simply incredible; Erica treated me like family, she taught me to cook delicious food and I also taught her about my food and my Peruvian culture. The work was entertaining because all the time the fauna of the place visited us and beautiful birds accompanied by music and interesting conversations. They have two dogs: the community and Thor, very loving; I will miss them a lot. In conclusion, if you have the opportunity to go, don't miss it — you're going to have an amazing time. 💕 I hope to return soon.

It's an amazing experience to connect with nature, Erica is a wonderful person, she is always asking you if you like the task you're doing and if you don't like it she will assign you another one, which is great; if there's something about the experience you don't like you can talk to her, she is very understanding; if you go there don't forget that it's a wooded area so there are many mosquitoes and there is no internet at the place, finally it's near the city of Rio de Janeiro, so it's super easy to visit her, there's a bus that takes you, so transportation isn't a problem haha.

My stay at the place was everything I needed to connect with myself and with nature; Erica undoubtedly makes you part of her family. I highly recommend this volunteering experience if you're willing to truly connect with nature.
