I had a great time here, especially since this was my first volunteering experience! Everyone was very kind and welcoming, and I really enjoyed the social atmosphere between the guests and other volunteers. The work was easy, and the manager was very understanding and helpful. I also really appreciated having four days off, which gave me plenty of time to explore Osaka and enjoy the city in my own way. Overall, I'm really happy I chose this place, and it was genuinely sad to leave. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly and relaxed experience!

Extremely fun time! The people working at the hostel really make you feel welcomed and you get to meet lots of people who are temporarily staying there. The work is simple and easily manageable and hours can be somewhat flexible as long as everything is agreed upon (eg. longer lunch breaks or leaving early if necessary). The location is amazing and very close to the centre. I genuinely made memories I won't forget here :)

Staying at showa was one of the best experiences I've ever had, everyone was so nice, I got to practice my japanese and learned about so many different cultures. The manager, Shu, was really nice all the time and helped us if we needed it, hope to be back soon!

Shu is a great host , and peacehouse Showa a great place to volunteer , the task are simple and give you plenty of time and space to connect with the other volunteers and travelers. If you are looking to be in a great city as Osaka in a not so crowded and local place I would say this is definitely the place.

The hostel was surprisingly social, and it was nice getting to meet both locals and international travelers. The tasks were reasonable and the hours left us a lot of free time to explore Osaka, and occasionally go on day trips. Interacting with guests was the best and I would recommend

If you're looking for meeting people, this is literally the best place to go! You can't avoid contact and connexions. Also, despite the 8h per day that can look scary, the work is actually chill to do.
