An extraordinary experience that changed me deeply. In the village I discovered a culture completely different from mine and incredibly kind people, in many ways far ahead of us. I was welcomed as part of the family, one I now have on the other side of the world and hope to see again. The children were wonderful, like younger siblings, so eager to learn. The volunteering is light (I'd have liked more!), which leaves time to travel and explore. Highly recommended to anyone. I learned far more than I taught. Ketut and his family are all pure souls very welcoming and attentive, they allow you to live and see from the inside the real local life while helping the community. The teaching aspect is very flexible, and it’s up to you to plan lessons that engage the students, so it’s very easy to create a fun and rewarding learning atmosphere. In fact, every session is a magical moment to connect with the children and learn from them in so many incredible ways.

I can't recommend this volunteer enough! The moment I arrived Ketut, the kids and everyone there made me feel part of the family. I came here thinking I was going to teach, but the truth is that I learned so much more than I could have ever imagined. The experience gave me a new perspective on life, kindness, and the importance of community. I have to admit it was hard to say goodbye! They left a special place in my heart, and I hope this isn't goodbye—just a “see you soon.” I am so grateful for all! Thank you Ketut!

This experience was totally worth it! Ketut is kindhearted, he is always available to help you and very friendly with everyone in the village. Everyone loves him! He told us about the long process of development of the project and we were stunned to learn how much effort he put into it. The project is great, the kids are so nice and always excited to learn and play together. We would recommend it to everyone, a stop here is mandatory!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️ lots of love , we'll come back

I am volunteering here for a couple of weeks and am sure contribute to local students learning Japanese and English, respectively.
The area is the very Indonesian village, strongly recommend to bring your motorbike and explore local leisure places and Kintamani and Botur.
Interaction with other guests, students and teachers, and locals is alao nice.

All the kids have a different level and everyday was a challenge to keep them focused and entertained. That was an exciting mission for me and I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did.
The place itself is lush green and the accomodation is very cosy. I had the chance to meet other travellers staying there while I was and we had nice talks and dinners in the commune kitchen. Otherwise the warung next door also makes incredible food 😊

This was an amazing and truly impactful week long experience for me when arriving in Bali! It was my first time in Bali and I felt super immersed in the local culture. The kids were so eager to learn, and Ketut was an amazing host! Super generous and accommodating. I will definitely return whenever im in Bali.
