Experience life in the heart of Germany by joining our friendly team at a quaint guesthouse with 15 cozy rooms. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help our team maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and ensureing our guests to feel right at home.
17 hours of help per week

We are looking for volunteers who want to stay at least 6 weeks. Not because less isn't possible (contact if you feel this guest house feels right for you but you have less time), but because from experience it simply isn't enough to get to know each other and feel home in a new city.
We are a young and dynamic team. Besides of the owner, Kirsten, our team consists of 2 workers, both in their late twenties, and another volunteer you will be working together with.

The main tasks and activities around your working hours will be the maintenance and housekeeping of our guest rooms and the common areas.
From cleaning and preparing the rooms for new Check Ins, over washing and taking care of the laundry, to smaller or bigger creative tasks aside from the housekeeping. Your job will be to become a part of our team we do not wanna miss.
Generally speaking, we start at 9 am and mostly end at around 1 or 2 pm. You get 3 days off per week. The other 4 days you will be working for around 4,15h daily. Some days there is less to do, some days there is more, so we will keep it flexible but always fair.
17h working per week is the maximum you will have to help us provide the standard we seek for the guests we like to attract and welcome. Outside the working hours there is solely the responsibility to keep the place where we live tidy and clean.
We believe in fairness and the feeling of being home, therefore the room (including private bathroom) provided to you by us is for one person only to guarantee you the privacy you deserve.
Although this is your private space, it is also the home from all of us. Therefore it is not allowed to take just anyone into the Guest House, solely for security reasons.
We are a non-smoker house, that means it is not allowed to smoke inside the guest house.
