I had a wonderful time at the guest house . Kristen and all of the managers Maria and Cedric were incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive from the first day. The working hours were clearly organized, and they were very flexible and accommodating because I was taking a German language course at the same time. The volunteers are treated exceptionally well. I had a private room, received a transportation ticket, and was given a generous breakfast budget. I cherish my time here. I met wonderful people and learned a lot. I highly recommend the guest house to anyone looking for a volunteering !

Wonderful experience! I didn't understand the guest house concept at first, but this perfect hostel–hotel hybrid truly won me over. The highlight: ONE private volunteer room, no sharing, with your own bathroom — almost unheard of in hostels. Kirsten, the owner, is a warm and inspiring host, always smiling, with breakfasts that nourish the soul. The small team feels like family. Housekeeping with hotel-level detail, great energy, and an unbeatable location in Hamburg. I'll definitely be back!

My volunteering experience at GuestHaus was amazing. Kirsten, the manager, was always very kind and correct with everything. She gave me advice that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. She always asked me to do tasks and told me how to do them, and always asked me to do them carefully and with quality. I was the first Worldpacker volunteer at your hostel, and I hope I left as good an impression as I did of this place and of you. I made friends with service providers and volunteers, and the atmosphere at the hostel is always pleasant. Thank you very much for everything, Kirsten.

Todo fue increíble, fue mi primer voluntariado y la experiencia me hizo amar el programa, conocí a personas increíbles, Kisten y Monti son unas personas maravillosas con muchísimas experiencias, te hacen sentir como en casa y además te ayudan a sumergirte en la cultura local. El lugar está increíble, en una ubicación privilegiada que ayuda a que puedas disfrutar al máximo la ciudad. Me voy de esta experiencia con muchísimas ganas de regresar y con amistades que se que durarán toda la vida.
