The Experience

Hi Brent here from Durville Island in the Marlborough Sounds. I live alone and could do with a bit of help with general jobs around house, grounds and maybe farm work. Is very isolated. It is a beautiful part of NZ . Have a comfortable 3 bedroom house with unlimited internet. I also have a dog, Jess. This property is 1050 acres, with Angus cattle , sheep, wild deers and pigs. So a big back yard and lovely walks around property as well as beach

My time on D'Urville Island was so peaceful and fulfilling. Brent is a very generous, knowledgeable, and patient guy, and I learned so much. He took me hunting and showed me all about the process, taught me to fish, and so much more. And Jess is such a sweetheart, I'll miss her! 🐶 The work was very manageable and never anything too strenuous. It's a really beautiful, remote place, and one I'll always think of as a second home. Thanks for everything, Brent and Jess!!

D'urville island has amazing views, I really enjoyed connecting with nature. The work was manageable but I think the schedule and rules should be updated.
