Both Duong and Quynh were very warm and welcoming and did whatever they possibly could to make all of us staying with them feel right at home throughout the duration of our stay. I would highly recommend this volunteering experience to anyone who would like a real and authentic experience teaching Vietnamese people (children and adults) English.

Xinchao Sean... Xinchao Quynh... Xinchao Vietnam... Namaste from India... Xin cam on for all the good time which I have been able to experience in the duration of my stay in Ba Vi with this amazing host and amazing people around... I have really loved Sean's and Quynh's hosting and their welcoming behaviour... I got to share my time with 4 travellers from Australia, Brazil, Italy and UK, which was amazing... We got to explore deep insights of Vietnamese heritage and culture... The hosts really ensured that we make ourselves at home and enjoy our time... Kudos (words limited.. love unlimited..)

It's been amazing to stay with Duong and Quynh, as they've both been so welcoming, friendly and including. They'll make sure you have a really good time outside of class, and will bring you along on their plans of the day, so you can get close to the culture and their way of living (weddings, family dinners..) During the classes you get to meet kids of different age, which are all respectful, curious, and very kind. It's nice to see what an impact the project has on the kids, and how much they enjoy it. I couldn't be happier about my first volunteer experience! Till we meet again, thank you!

Absolutely loved it! Sean and Quynh go above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable and having fun. I couldnt be happier that I found them and they chose me. My experience joining the classes will also stay with me. The kids are well-behaved, respectful, and really an energetic bunch, most especially for the younger students. Staying with Sean has been an amazing experience for me. He's introduced us to his family and friends and they also accepted us to their homes, letting us have a more local experience which has made my whole trip to Vietnam a lot more enjoyable.
