I came with no expectations, and it turned out to be one of the best trips I've ever had. 10/10, would definitely recommend! My favourite part was definitely the team. Volunteering at the hostel Notting Hill was the highlight of my backpacking trip and I even ended up extending an extra month. It's such a special place, so social and so easy to make friends and meet people from all around the world - I'm leaving with so many new friends. The team is so welcoming and literally feels like a family, and Lucy the manager is truly the best boss ever and feels more like a big sister than a boss, is so chill about moving shifts and is always there if you need anything. Literally cried my eyes out when I left and cannot recommend it enough.

The hostel Notting hill was an incredible place to volunteer, I was so shy at first because it was my first hostel experience but they made me feel welcome immediately. The job is pretty easy and they'll teach you everything you need to know. The people from the staff where so nice and fun, I felt immediately at home. Lucy, the manager, is always available and comprehensible, and she would always check that everything was good and that we were good and happy. Guests also were incredible, I loved meeting all those beautiful people 🥹 Overall I had so much fun and I loved this place!!! 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶

One fam truly became that and more for me!! I had an incredible month volunteering at Notting Hill and left with lifelong friends and a one of a kind experience! 🫶 The tasks were SUPER straightforward with a good variety, everything was well organized, and the manager Lucy was always available without micromanaging. Free dinners were included as well as the occasional shopping for staff essentials. Staff room was what you'd expect. Hostel is one of the best I've visited on my travels and in a great area of London! Would come back in a heartbeat, so grateful my time here 🤍
