The Experience

Hello, we are a permaculture space, where we work with agroecology and bioconstruction. We have a dry toilet and we take care of our planet! Here you will help us take care of the garden, agroforestry, build with clay, and also take care of the space. All of our meals are communal, always taking turns for everyone to cook. We are 22 km from the nearest town, so bring everything you need to live your daily life here!

The communication with yhe hosts was really bad, when we arrived they asked if we brought a tent and they were surprised that we didn't even though they didn't say anything about it, they gave us a cabbin that was used for storage and left us to clean and organize it.
They speak a lot about community and family but they speak very violantly and not willing to listen and talk respectfully when a conflict arises.
Also it didn't feel as they are appreciating the good work that was done, and i have many more examples..
I give 3 stars and not less because we had food the working hours was respected

Everything was provided for your stay. We offered the option to borrow a tent and a mattress or to stay in a private room, in the house that is under construction. You chose and received a double mattress, bed linen and a blanket. You also got afternoon coffee, as a fourth meal. We believe that this comment says more about you than about us. You did not open up to communication and questions. Your attitudes in a group were not approved by other volunteers either. Safe travels.

It was a beautiful experience to be at the project; the vegetarian meals are amazing. Tani is a dear person, a person with a lot of light. It was very gratifying to be able to learn more about bioconstruction.

It was very special to spend a week at ecotribomãetiqueira. I was able to help with what was needed, I learned a lot about bioconstruction; it was an interesting experience. I connected with the people, we had many campfires at night and there was a lot of good exchange. I even managed to speak a little English. I highly recommend volunteering there for anyone who wants to connect with nature in a sustainable way. We give thanks to the sacred mountain! ⛰️💚🙏🏽

Returning to this space felt like coming home. It is always a privilege to learn about bioconstruction and agroforestry, but the best part is the warmth and the feeling of being part of the family. This period in the mountains renewed my energy. Light, vegetarian food was like a detox. The trails and hikes were incredible! I recommend it to anyone seeking to live in peace, amidst nature and in simplicity. I will come back many times!

It was an incredible immersive experience in nature. The work is calm and involves agroforestry activities, bioconstruction and vegetarian cooking led by the host. The accommodation is a penthouse that already has a tent and hammocks. The internet works at specific times, as the site is powered by solar energy. The meals are prepared by volunteers in the communal kitchen, very nutritious. I recommend the nearby trails and waterfalls, a paradisiacal place! A fun and very friendly family!
