My experience as a volunteer at the ApartHotel in Pucón was incredible. From the first day I felt very welcomed; everyone was very kind and always willing to help. I learned a lot about the local culture and received excellent advice. The work was calm, with a flexible and very patient environment. The room is cozy and the hotel very nice. If you are looking for a place to connect with culture and nature, Pucón is ideal, a quiet town. I hope to return someday. The tasks and schedules are carried out very well; they are tasks that take time but are simple.
The days off are respected and are flexible if necessary.
Pucon is beautiful, there is a lot of free time to explore and it is a very safe place.
Something to note is that since it's a hotel and not a hostel, there isn't that interaction among guests, but it's still a good experience to have.

My experience at alphes was good. Diamela was a very pleasant, very friendly and very considerate person when it came to flexibility. I had to change my stay due to personal problems, and they were very understanding. I stayed for a week, and during that week I had night shifts, and in the afternoons the hours were respected. The tasks are very easy; perhaps I also had a culture shock, but most of the time I felt uncomfortable with the rest of the staff. Recomiendo voluntarear en the hotel. El lugar es céntrico. Buenas instalaciones, el equipo de trabajo muy amable y atento en todo. Los huéspedes bacanes (como dicen aquí).
