This was my first time ever volunteering at a hostel. It was absolutely incredible, and I made so many friends in such a short amount of time. Everyone was eager to know me and to make me feel welcomed. Despite my intermediate Portuguese, everyone spoke to me with an endearing patience. My Portuguese vocabulary improved substantially while working here.
However, the volunteers were disallowed to use hostel washing machines/hangers (despite being apart of the original agreement) and we were made to change living areas on short notice.
Hostel manager always prioritized safety of volunteers.

It was a great experience for me to be in this hostel volunteering, the people in charge of the hostel made me feel at home. They were really flexible with the schedule for me and always asked me when I preferred to have the days off. It was also really good for getting to know the city and the culture. I totally recommed this volunteer if you'd like to explore and know Sao Paulo and Brazil.

Feel really lucky that this was my first experience in Brazil! The location was great close to the metro and the hostel had many other volunteers, which made it easy to connect and make friends. The host was super kind, flexible, and always made sure we felt comfortable. I'm very grateful for my time there and would definitely recommend this place to other volunteers!

It was a great experience to have Hüseyin with us on this journey! Super respectful, communicative and helpful. He carried out all the hostel's activities and always helped out when needed. I recommend him and he will always be welcome in our hostel!

Camila was an amazing host; she has a calm vibe, but she knows very well what needs to be done. The team around her is also great, and everyone is always willing to help each other. The hostel has an excellent location, in a safe neighborhood and with everything nearby; it's a really good place to get to know the city and learn. Incredible experience, I am very grateful to Camí, who is the manager; I felt at home, the facilities are very good and comfortable.
The work I did at reception and a bit of tidying was super calm, nothing complicated, some days I could work at the bar.
It's ideal for someone looking to get to know São Paulo and stay in a safe and comfortable place, I would come back without thinking about it ♥️

She also gives you the option to choose your days off, which is very good especially for those who want to work abroad. The hostel is spacious and the girls stay in a small house with a living room and private bathrooms. I recommend this experience to other traveling friends.
