Volunteering at the hostel was an amazing experience! The work is really varied - gardening, some painting, a bit of cleaning, so every day is different and you definitely won't get bored with your tasks :) Sonia makes sure you experience the local community, culture, and delicious food. She really takes care of her volunteers and is always happy to recommend the best places to visit in your free time. I spent a wonderful month here, and I'll definitely be back :) next time as a guest! The hostel is incredible, and the view from the garden is absolutely breathtaking.

The location is perfect for discovering Liguria. With a short bus ride to Recco, you can visit such beautiful places and amazing beaches. Tucked away in the mountain makes days in Uscio super peaceful and perfect for nature lovers. This is not a party hostel but a peaceful place in the mountains where you can truly relax and experience Italian culture and daily life. Sonia also organized group meals several times which created a warm and friendly atmosphere. She was always caring, generous, and attentive while respecting privacy and independence. I would definitely recommend this experience

My time at Sonia's bnb was incredible!! It was stunning and just a perfect place to experience a true Italian getaway. I had a rocky start as Sonia can be a little scattered, but once we got to know each other better it was smooth sailing. Sonia truly cares about you and her guests and wants you to have the best time. Come here to relax, meet great people, and eat some gooooood food:) Thank you Sonia and Uscio!

I fell in love with my time at the hostel. The location and views are beautiful, with lovely gardens and outdoor seating to enjoy the sunset or sunrise. Sonia is very inspiring with such a big heart. We built a wonderful friendship, and I really enjoyed working with her. You have a lot of time to explore gorgeous beaches like Camogli and Zoagli. Sonia will treat you like family, cooking traditional Italian pasta for everyone! and she shares so much history, and many incredible local restaurants, stores, and festivals! You also make new friends all over the world with the visiting guests. 🥰
