Ariel was the most amazing host. He made me feel like apart of his family and right at home. He is really one of the most caring people I've ever met. Being at the school every day was an experience I will never forget as well. I made so many strong relationships with the local teachers who are now people I can call friends. I also loved spending time with all the students and creating bonds with them as well. I'm so grateful for my time in Honduras and being able to be immersed in the culture, I'm already planning a trip back!

I absolutely loved my time in the cbc-school. From the very first moment on Ariel took care of me and tried to integrate me as much as possible.
The teaching was an amazing experience. Of course a bit chaotic at times but overall so fun. The kids are super nice and you get tasks depending on your ability and preferences. I had never taught English before, but I never felt uncomfortable. A great experience for my life.
Also the accommodation is good and you have your own space. And laaaast: Honduras is an amazing country. I loved the people! If you think about it, do it!!!

My time at the school in Cofradía was absolutely amazing. I was in charge of the kindergarten class, and I loved it! It wasn't just about teaching English; it became my beautiful daily routine. I even made a wonderful friendship with my Spanish co-teacher. It is truly one of my best memories.
Everyone, including Ariel, was super nice. The volunteer house is very big. Sometimes there was no water or electricity, but it was not a big deal at all. Honduras is a gorgeous country and the people are so amable.

I loved my experience at the school. I was responsible for a pre-K class in the mornings, a prep period or helping out with other tasks and classes as needed midday and then teaching a grade 4 class in the afternoon. I had a consistent schedule whereas some of the other volunteers did not and would help out wherever they were needed each day. Being flexible is key. I learned a lot about teaching and met so many wonderful staff and students. The apartment was great and Mr. Ariel, Mrs. Fanny and Mrs. Maibelys were all so wonderful to work with. I would absolutely recommend it!

I really enjoyed the time I spent in Cofradía. Volunteering at CBC was an experience I will never forget. I had the opportunity to teach both kindergarten kids and older students, and just as much as I was able to teach them, they taught me as well. They reminded me how we are all supposed to be — in our rawest form, simply living in the moment. This is the ideal experience for someone who isn't focused on counting the hours they work or the time spent preparing classes, but rather wants to truly contribute, support the kids, and dedicate their time to a meaningful cause.

Hey Vasco ,Your message means a lot to us. The connections formed in Cofradía are truly special, and it’s beautiful to hear how the students impacted you as much as you impacted them. That sense of living in the moment is something they naturally carry, and we’re glad you experienced it. We hope to welcome you back someday.

My experience at Cofradía the school was amazing! The school has a great atmosphere: warm, welcoming, and full of energy from the kids. I really enjoyed being part of the team and contributing to their learning. Mr. Ariel, the director, is a kind and who genuinely cares about both the students and the volunteers If you're looking for a meaningful experience where you can teach, learn, and feel part of a community, this is definitely the right place.

I really enjoyed volunteering at CBC. I mostly taught kindergarten, 6th grade, and covered a few other classes. If you want to immerse yourself in the local culture and enjoy teaching, this is a great choice. Mr. Ariel and Ms. Dilcia always made sure we felt comfortable, and the teachers were welcoming. The school is still organizing some things, so schedules can get a bit messy, but with a few games or activities prepared ahead, you'll do fine, I recommend to ask about the schedule. Overall, the staff made us feel at home, and Honduras welcomed us warmly, thank you so much for everything.

I spend a month at CBC, I had a blast with third and fifth graders, Mr Ariel is a great host and an amazing person, he always took care of our needs. If you have previous experience working with kids this is the place for you, otherwise it can get a bit challenging. I recommend you to prepare a schedule in advanced during the time you'll be volunteering. The meals offered are delicious.

I could not possibly say enough good things about this school and the volunteering experience! Ariel is amazing to work with and its so obvious how much everyone running the school loves the children. The children are so fun to teach and interact with and they are so welcoming to the volunteers! The apartment you live in is fantastic and the free meals you get at the school are so so delicious! I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to volunteer! I have taught places all over the world through volunteering & Worldpackers and this one is so special! Sending lots of love!!

I had an amazing time volunteering at the school. Above all, it was definitely a learning experience for me. Mr. Ariel is absolutely lovely and really caring for the volunteers and students. Working with kids is always an up and down so you really have to commit to it but the love and joy you get in return is the biggest reward. The school lacks organisation sometimes and how things are supposed to be done are not always particularly clear. However, this gives you a lot of freedom with classes, which I personally preferred. Absolutely recommend!!
