We are looking for an helping hand with knowledge of horses. Your tasks will be general daily horse care (feeding, grooming, mucking out, etc.), stable maintenance (from sweeping stalls to building pastures) and help with our breeding and riding-school. We are based in a very rural area...which is great for hacking! Depending on your skills you'll be allowed to ride in your free time. The majority of meals are eaten in our family's restaurant.

It was my first worldpackers experience and to be honest, I was really nervous at first! The moment I met the other volunteers and Dani I realized how welcoming they all are. The work was manageable and there were no days that were the exact same.Dani would take us to cool places such as old towns and castles, she is an amazing tour guide! The food was great and very different from what im used to.The forest offers great place for walks, runs and occasional trail rides. I truly miss this place and the peace and freedom I felt there. I definitely recommend this experience β‘

I had an amazing time in Bellersdorf and highly recommend this experience! From the beginning, Daniela was incredibly kind and generous. Some weekends, she took us to visit different towns, castles and trail rides with the horses. The family restaurant was delicious, and I really enjoyed helping Mrs. and Mr. Decker! The horses are lovely and well-behaved, and there is always something to do at the stables, so you'll never get bored. And Daniela makes the BEST homemade jams! Highly recommended!

My adventure in Bellersdorf was really magical.
I will never forget the beautiful forest, the smell of the horses in the barn, the welcoming house and the cosy restaurant.
I wanted to step out of my everyday life to live a farm experience with nature and animals, and I did, thanks to Dani!
I am not a morning person but I always woke up motivated to do the work because I loved it. During my stay, I got the chance to go on hikes, I spent time with the baby chickens, i took care of the garden, I fed, I mocked, I cooked, I went on walks in the forest and so much more.
I had an amazing time Dani!

I absolutely loved my time here! Dani and her family were so nice and welcoming, and made sure I had everything I needed. Working with all the horses was so fulfilling, and we also got to ride them which I loved. Dani took us on trips to nearby places, and I learned a lot about the history of the area. I met so many amazing people during my stay here, and will continue to keep in touch with them! I definitely recommend this place! :)

I had an absolutely wonderful time with Dani and her family. From the very beginning, everyone was incredibly kind, and I felt at home right away. The food was excellent, and I really enjoyed the trips we went on together.
Besides the people, I also grew very attached to the horses and the other animals. We regularly had the opportunity to take riding lessons, and horses were a big part of everyday life as well.
I met so many amazing people and animals, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this volunteering position.
Saying goodbye was not easy, and I will definitely come back!
