The Experience

Tasks in this camp are simple - welcome our guests and help them find a good pitch, keep the place (camp itself, kitchen sinks, toilets and showers) clean and fresh, and occasionally set up tents for previously booked reservations. The family winery will eventually need help in maintaining the vineyard and space for wine tasting tours as well.

I enjoyed my time with Dimitrije at the vineyard. Everything was quite nice and the place was great. I had a lot of time for walks in the mountains and going to the river. Everybody was friendly and helpful.

The location was beautiful, and the owners were very friendly. However, the working hours were completely misleading. Instead of 6 hours, I was forced to work full-time from 8 AM to 11 PM, stuck with pool duty and unable to explore the city more than once. What made it worse was another worker's unfair and bitter comments right before I left, showing zero gratitude for my hard work—it deeply angered me. Great place for a quiet getaway, but I strongly advise against working here.

Honestly, it's a very quiet place surrounded by beautiful landscapes, I had a great time and they lent me an electric bike to get around. I feel a bit bad because it rained a lot on most of the days I was there, so I couldn't help much with the work, but thank you very much for everything and for what I learned.
