My stay at the camping was such a lovely experience! Serioshka was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always checking in to make sure I was doing well. Communication was great throughout my stay, which made everything feel easy and comfortable. Communication was great, and the tasks were simple and manageable—taking care of the dogs, helping Pancho with gardening and trimming trees, assisting with housekeeping, and keeping the house and kitchen clean and tidy. Tepoztlan is truly a magical town, beyond grateful for the experience and would definitely recommend staying here!

Diese Erfahrung war ein Traum. Serioshka ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, die dir unterwegs Tipps und Tricks zum Garten und zur Stadt vermittelt und in allem hilft, was nötig ist. Deine Hauptaufgaben sind es, dich um die Hunde zu kümmern (es ist einfach unmöglich, sich nicht in die Hunde zu verlieben). Und täglich den Garten zu gießen. Du arbeitest die ganze Woche über mit Serioshka und Poncho, dem Gärtner, an verschiedenen Aufgaben, um den Garten zu pflegen und mehr darüber zu lernen. Tepotzlan ist eine verschlafene Stadt, aber es gibt immer etwas zu tun. Wenn du es magst, Kunst zu machen, wandern, Natur und einfach zu erkunden - hier ist der Ort für dich!

Der Garten ist schön und wird mit viel Liebe gepflegt! Die Aufgaben waren einfach und wurden selbstständig erledigt. Höhepunkte waren es, Pancho den Gärtner zu unterstützen, der interessante Informationen über das Leben in Tepoztlán hatte, das schöne sonnige Wetter und das Kochen in der Außenküche.
Ich blieb 17 Tage und konnte während meines Aufenthalts nicht viel Zeit persönlich mit Serioshka verbringen, aber sie kommunizierte per WhatsApp über die Aufgaben. Ich war überrascht, während meines Aufenthalts mit 1 - 2 weiteren einsamen Freiwilligen dort zu sein, obwohl wir uns gut verstanden haben. Das Haus liegt auf einem Berg, also bereite dich auf viel steiles Wandern und tolle Ausblicke vor!

Our stay at the camping was an unforgettable experience, I feel I've come away with lifelong connections. Serioshka and her three lovely pups welcomed us into their space and made us feel right at home. The jobs are very fair and enjoyable, and gardening days with Pancho are an excellent time to learn and develop your language skills. We were shown a couple things in the art studio and Serioshka sent us a few books and videos personally picked out to inspire us and our art styles. The hardest part was leaving the dogs, I did shed a tear or two on the bus out of town!

From the moment I stepped into the camping I welcomed both by serioshka and her lovely dogs. Jose, Camilla and Renata (the dogs in questions) are treasures. Each have wonderful personalities and will demand nothing but cuddles. The workload is fair with regular jobs and added chores. The facilities are a little barebones but everything needed to exist comfortably is provided. Serioshka is a great host who will do everything she can to make you feel cared for and welcome.

I spent 2 weeks at this beautiful site and it wasn't enough time! I would recommend that anyone who goes here stays for longer so you can not only really get into the grove of your chores, but experience Tepoztlàn fully. I spent 12 days by self at the site doing chores and I felt completely safe and supported. Serioshka was very clear about my roles and responsibilities and was always available to reach if I had any questions. Pancho the gardener comes twice a week, he is extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. He will teach you alot. The dogs are amazing, and it truly was amazing ❤️

Had a lovely peaceful month staying here. The tasks were interesting and challenging but in a good way, pushing you outside your comfort zone. You feel as though the work you're doing is genuinely improving the place for future guests and volunteers. The hardest task will be leaving the dogs! It has been a privilege living with them and they are incredibly sweet and loving. Serioshka was an incredibly nice host who makes you feel welcome and well valued. Pancho the gardener is an amazing teacher! Highly recommend!!!

Spending a month here, right on the edge of the National Park, has been an unforgettable experience. The work is engaging and challenges you in the best way, helping you grow while making a real difference for future guests and volunteers. Looking after three beautiful dogs was a joy! Serioshka is a welcoming and thoughtful host who ensures everyone feels appreciated. Pancho (the gardener) was an expert teacher, always taking the time to explain his processes with patience and care. If you're thinking about staying at the camping, don't hesitate!

Idris ist ein großartiger und begeisterter Freiwilliger, der gerne lernt und hart arbeitet. Wir hatten sehr gute Gespräche. Er und Ruby waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben sich nie beschwert. Wir hatten eine gute Kommunikation und ich hoffe, dass sie bald zurückkommen.

My friend and I stayed for two weeks and had a lovely experience. Through staying with Serioshka, we were able to get a non-touristy experience in Tepoztlán while learning new skills (for example, constructing a fence out of bamboo or creating molds out of cement and manure). The place itself is idyllic and peaceful, and it was great to connect with nature and the outdoors. Serioshka was responsive and flexible, which made our stay all the better.

This was such a wonderful experience I am so grateful that Serioshka hosted my friend and me at her art workshop. I feel that I learned so much and I really enjoyed the work I did. I felt really connected to Mother Earth- the view of the surrounding mountains from the camping was so breathtaking and the fact that we could just pick produce from the garden to consume was lovely. I loved the three dogs who stayed at the art workshop with us and still have a soft spot for Serioshka's other three dogs who came to visit! I also learned so much from Pancho who is an incredible teacher. Thank you Serioshka!
