Such a beautiful community in a really beautiful place. This was an incredibly peaceful and immersive experience and I'm so lucky to have had it! Vale and Francesco have the kindest family and every single person I met during my stay was so patient and friendly. It was the perfect chance to practice Italian, get in touch with nature, hang out with an amazing group of kids, and explore Palermo. I felt very comfortable, and Vale and Francesco are the most generous hosts. My best advice would be to put yourself out there during your stay!

The hosts are a very caring family and guide you🩷. The tasks are clear and spending time with the children is fun! The weather is really hot though. Its good if you speak Italian or spanish so it's easier to connect with the children. The place is pretty beautiful and it's fun to cook there after work hour is done. It's peaceful. It's a bit difficult if you are a party person, because the bus doesn't come so late.I learned a lot and didn't feel stressed, because the atmosphare is pretty chill🤗

I had a wonderful time here! I helped out in the kindergarten (ages 1-5) from about 9:30-2:30 each school day. My tasks there consisted of hanging out with and caring for the children, and helping with meals and dishes afterwards. Only 1 teacher really spoke any English, but the teachers were incredibly welcoming and we used lots of expressive facial expressions and hand gestures to communicate. Valentina and Francesco were incredibly kind, helping me get settled and making sure I had what I needed. Be prepared to be living at the school totally by yourself outside of school hours.

Thank you for this great experience! Working with Valentina and Francesco was pure pleasure! They are so welcoming, it's incredible! I immediately felt at ease with them, with great discussions. I only have one desire: to go back to work there! I recommend it to everyone who wants to improve their Italian, work with children in a relaxed and positive atmosphere while being close to nature! :) Their way of working and approaching, educating children is really great I thank them for this adventure and highly recommend it! :)

Words cannot describe what this place evokes. In me? Pure magic. If you love waking up in the mountains of Palermo, being able to cook in an open kitchen and starting your day on the platform among the fruit trees before work, then you've come to the right place - but be careful, there might be chickens running around below you ;-). For example, you can learn how to build a chicken coop, design a rap or plant spring onions. It is important that you are not afraid to enter into conversation if you are interested in something or show initiative, for example if you want to initiate a project :-)
