My time at the host was a wonderful experience that I'll always remember with so much love. The place is absolutely beautiful, everywhere I looked there was another amazing view. I have no words to thank Fabiola for all her hospitality, her patience with my Spanish, and especially for her friendship during these days. On my last day, I really didn't want to leave at all, I hope I can come back one day! Thank you for everything!!! ❤️

My first week had some problems, the second week didn't and ended very nicely. The main issue for me was that I did not have enough to eat for the first 4 days, which was made even more difficult from the heavy work like digging and carrying firewood. My host was not there most of the time and the shower was not cold but it wasn't very warm either. I was here in winter. I was not given the tools needed to complete most of the work unless I asked for them, for example I was told to move dirt, but was not given a shovel, and then didn't receive the shovel for maybe an hour after I asked.

Harrison, from the start we agreed on the meals and you agreed; it's a pity that you weren't comfortable. We are in the mountains and we try to make the volunteers feel comfortable, and that's why every day I asked him how he was and tried to resolve everything he asked of me. I hope he is doing well.

It was fun but also some work to do but I did not mind it. The location is beautiful and it has a lot of nature to offer. Felipe is really kind and also the other people living here. It is relatively close to Santiago de Chile as well about 2 hours. I really enjoyed my stay.

If u like to close to the nature, there is a beautiful Andes mountains view can watch and it changes ever day. Felipe and others workers and volunteers are nice, even I can not really speak Spanish, still patiently communicated with google translate! However, there is no hot shower and irregular water and power outages, could be a little bit hard during the winter time, but I think this is something part of mountain life, you just need to get used to it! After that you will feel yourself as a soldier, at least know how to make a fire!

Spending these days at Valle de Montaña was a very good experience, full of peace and tranquility. The place is very beautiful, welcoming and conveys an incredible sense of connection with nature, which is present all the time. The cabin is very comfortable and spacious, perfect for resting and enjoying the place. The time spent with Fabiola and Felipe was also very good. I was welcomed very well from the first day and I felt very at ease throughout the stay. They were very special days, which I will surely treasure with great affection. I am very grateful to have lived this experience.

The place is a 10 out of 10. At first it was difficult for me to adapt because the work is a little heavy, considering that you are on a mountain, but then I connected with the place and honestly I would have loved to stay longer with the host. The hosts Felipe and Fabiola are very cool and recognize when one works hard. Without a doubt it's a place I want to return to and I hope it will be in winter when the snow covers the mountain.. Thanks for everything.
