Valle de Montañas
Because it's a beautiful place, the work is diverse and good for people that like to work in the fresh air. We have a family environment and good vibes, wanting to exchange experiences with our volunteers.
We are a small and lovely place nestled in the heart of the Cajón del Maipo mountains, where we maintain 7 cabins for rest and recreation. We dedicate ourselves to serving national and international guests throughout the year and we carry out with them outdoor activities, horseback riding, trekking, rafting, canopy and astronomical tours. In addition we offer hot tubs and relaxation massages; along with this we welcome small groups who want to get out of the city, connect with nature and enjoy it with all its benefits.
In our place we must keep everything in good condition. Irrigation, pruning of pines and fruit trees, pool cleaning, maintenance of green areas, various repairs to our cabins, feeding and habitat of our pets. We have lambs and dogs, so it is necessary to always be willing to work with them.
In addition we maintain another beautiful plot sown with alfalfa and on this we attend daily to four horses; in this place we clean the stalls, water the pastures and weed our planting.
We believe our places are very attractive for guests because of the contact with nature, the animals, the good views and the fresh air.
We offer breakfast and lunch on work days. In addition to laundry service. Besides that you can cook on schedule. The village is very quiet and the people are very friendly.
You will have an individual cabin that is shared with other volunteers (depends on the season).

Spending these days at Valle de Montaña was a very good experience, full of peace and tranquility. The place is very beautiful, welcoming and conveys an incredible sense of connection with nature, which is present all the time. The cabin is very comfortable and spacious, perfect for resting and enjoying the place. The time spent with Fabiola and Felipe was also very good. I was welcomed very well from the first day and I felt very at ease throughout the stay. They were very special days, which I will surely treasure with great affection. I am very grateful to have lived this experience.

My time at the host was a wonderful experience that I'll always remember with so much love. The place is absolutely beautiful, everywhere I looked there was another amazing view. I have no words to thank Fabiola for all her hospitality, her patience with my Spanish, and especially for her friendship during these days. On my last day, I really didn't want to leave at all, I hope I can come back one day! Thank you for everything!!! ❤️

My first week had some problems, the second week didn't and ended very nicely. The main issue for me was that I did not have enough to eat for the first 4 days, which was made even more difficult from the heavy work like digging and carrying firewood. My host was not there most of the time and the shower was not cold but it wasn't very warm either. I was here in winter. I was not given the tools needed to complete most of the work unless I asked for them, for example I was told to move dirt, but was not given a shovel, and then didn't receive the shovel for maybe an hour after I asked.

Good experience, the place is beautiful and Fabiola and Felipe are very kind; I really felt comfortable with them. I only stayed for one of the two weeks because I wanted to experience new things and share more, and it turned out that the volunteering was very work-related. I told Fabiola about it and she was very understanding. It's a good volunteering experience.
