I had a wonderful time at the finca. Raquel and Marcos are kind, welcoming, and well-organized hosts. The working hours and tasks were as described. As someone from Northern Europe, I sometimes struggled with the heatwave during my stay, but they were always flexible to adjust the schedule. The house and the surrounding land, with their stunning views of the mountains and the sea are absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, and I met lovely people. I hope to come back one day to see all the progress they've made and explore the beautiful surroundings even more.

This volunteering experience was amazing from the very first days. We worked together on a syntropic garden project, and I learned a lot thanks to their explanations and openness. The tasks were easy but very rewarding — painting, cooking, gardening, and helping around the place. The views are incredible, with beautiful sunsets and amazing hiking spots nearby. Raquel and Marcos are wonderful people, full of passion and positive energy, always helpful and flexible. I will truly miss this place and one day I hope to come back and see how the garden has grown.

We spent two special weeks with Marcos and Raquel (and the sweety Margarida) in an incredible place.
The tasks and schedules were strictly respected and there was flexibility in agreeing on the more intense and tiring jobs (the heat of the first few days didn't help much, but afterwards it went much better!). We prepared the land to plant an agroforest and painted a small house.
It was really nice to meet other travelers and all sleep together in a wonderful, spacious and peaceful room. We ate a lot of eggplants and definitely experimented with so many recipes to cook them!! 😂 Thank you <3

This Worldpackers experience was our first, and Raquel and Marcos have set the bar high.! They welcomed us and made us feel at home from our first day. We planned to stay for two weeks, but extended to one month! The tasks were rewarding, and it felt great to be a part of the project. On our days off, we walked to the local towns, and spent time and the beautiful beaches, and had lunch at some good restaurants. We look forward to coming back to the finca in the future, thank you Raquel, Marcos, and Magali!!
