Build an Amazing Music Festival in Australia!
The experience
The site comes alive during the Build around 8 Dec. Over 400 volunteers help set up the festival — building, decorating, and preparing the site. Enjoy a FREE ticket to the 6-day festival as a reward for the work. No work during festival week! 2 Jan, volunteers return for pack-down, which takes up to a week. Build roles are project-based. There are nightly performances and jam sessions, social time, a Crew Bar, and 3X FREE healthy meals a day.

Activities & Shift
Build crew volunteers come for 2 weeks, work full days and have a social programme in the evening. They get fed 3 FREE meals/day and work alongside 450 other volunteers from around the world to build and decorate the village. If you are interested in the Build, you will need to start anytime between 3-10 December, available until at least 1 January. It would be good if you could stay up until 8 January.
Festival Volunteers are expected to work 30–35 hours over the festival period (December 24th to January 2nd), depending on the role. Around 2,000 volunteers arrive between December 24th and 27th to help bring the Woodford Folk Festival to life. Volunteers play a big part in making the festival comfortable, fun, and well-fed for everyone. From those who clean the amenities to the friendly greeters, baristas, bartenders, and bakers — there are hundreds of roles to choose from.
Want to know what roles are available? The best way is to click ‘Apply Now’ on the website and browse the list — you can even view all roles at once if you have time to explore. We aim to match your skills with the perfect role, which is why the application is detailed.
