I spent 1 month volunteering at the hostel and had a great time. The shifts were fun, especially working at the bar and helping at the reception. There was still a lot of free time to explore the wonderful city. The team was friendly, and it was great to work with them and hang out together. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a volunteering experience.

I spent 3 months at this hostel and had an amazing time. The atmosphere is welcoming thanks to the friendly and sociable staff and volunteers. This experience also gave me the chance to explore Copenhagen, a fantastic city. A special thanks to Viviana, who was always available and ready to help. During my stay, she gave me great support and her presence truly made a difference. Thanks as well to Jiji, a sweet and energetic person who brings everyone together through activities and helps create a wonderful sense of community. I will take many great memories from this experience with me.

I had lots of fun at the hostel and definitely recommend it. Accommodation and schedule were as expected, staff and volunteers were great, and I also got to practice my Spanish with them. One thing I wish I had known before, although it might seem obvious, is that bartending also involves washing dirty glasses, not just making drinks and chatting with customers. If you don't already know how to do that and get unlucky with your shifts, you might end up staying in the kitchen for most of your working hours. If you are mentally prepared for that, I think you will have a great time!

My experience at the hostel was a 10/10. The volunteer team is amazing—I met incredible people, and the staff is great. Sometimes expectations can feel a bit high, especially without hospitality experience, but you're always supported. The shifts are fun, and you meet people from all over the world. There are activities every evening, so you'll never get bored. I'd definitely do it again. Special mention to my fellow volunteers ❤️ and to Jiji, who is super fun and caring. Overall, I felt very comfortable, and the team is always willing to help.

Had so much fun during my stay at the hostel. The team was really fun to work with, even though the management type can be a bit stressful at times. Still would totally recommend this experience!!

I had a great experience at downtown! The people I met here, both the volunteers and workers, were so fun and welcoming. The kitchen and room were both fine. The tasks were okay and they really made sure that you didn't work more than you were scheduled to. As a volunteer it was great and it was as I expected. The people working the night shift were 11/10!!!!

The volunteering experience at the hostel was amazing. Unfortunaley, during this low season they ended up having to finish the experience earlier than expected. I learnt a lot of skills with them and they were very prompt to listen to my obsersations regarding the work. Good communication, I totally recommend them.

I was disappointed with my volunteer experience, as the role wasn't what I expected. I hoped to learn and work at the bar but was mostly assigned as a runner. I felt volunteers and staff were treated differently, and the manager never really gave me a chance. Being asked at the last minute to dance during a performance also made me uncomfortable. I think facilities could be improved, especially food support and bike access (+2h). Despite this, I met amazing people, learned some Spanish, and made friends I'll keep in touch with. Thank you to the team, and I wish the best for future volunteers.

I wouldn't recommend it, my sister and I felt that we're never treated as volunteers, but rather as staff, the work is hard as it's in a bar and pub and we endup doing more work than the actual staff.the manager Jiji is difficult to deal with, she has a difficult personality and makes the atmosphere uncomfortable, the hostel management is dreadful and facilities for volunteers are terrible(room, kitchen)shifts are mostly nights finishing at 3am,which my sister did without a change for 3 weeks,TO MY FELLOW VOLUNTEERS you're the really good part of this experience and thanks to all of you XO

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. While I do not fully share your perception, I respect your opinion and understand that everyone experiences things differently.

Running a busy hostel requires teamwork from both staff and volunteers, and I regret that you felt uncomfortable during your stay.

I appreciate the work you contributed and wish you all the best for your future projects and travels.
