It was my first experience as a volunteer and I could not be more grateful to Helena, she was always a very friendly and helpful person, she gave us everything we needed during our time at home and shared with us all the lunches that was the best part of the day. The tasks were always simple and easy to do, especially to get Pluto and Rufi for a walk, their dogs that are adorable. I would recommend this experience.

Our time with Helena was absolutely amazing, we are so glad that we got to experience this past few weeks with her. Helena has a big house where she provides you with your own apartment, so we had privacy, space and internet to work remotely; she provided us with groceries and everything we needed and she cooked lunch for us everyday (The most amazing fresh, healthy and delicious food I have had in any volunteer experience). About the work it was mostly helping her with her dogs Pluto and Rufi, they are very calmed and nice dogs, and helping her out with some small garden and inside jobs.

I had an absolutely amazing time with Helena. She was vibrant and welcoming. I loved spending my time with her and her dogs Pluto and Ruffi and especially loved my snuggles with her cat Cheetah. The work was always manageable and fun. Helena is also an incredible cook and I will miss her food!! Would come back in a heartbeat

Helena was a wonderful and welcoming host. All tasks were manageable and flexible leaving us plenty of downtime to relax and/or explore. It was lovely getting to walk her two dogs Rufie and Pluto as well as hang out with her cat Cheetah. You get your own private bedroom/ensuite as well as a kitchen and dining area. The work was a nice mix of indoor and outdoor tasks all within our comfort level. Helena was very friendly and fun and made us amazing meals for lunch, also catering for me being a vegetarian :)
I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone ❤️

Helena is an amazing host who cooks great meals and is really kind and generous! Her home is beautiful and she has wonderful pets. I would recommend any family or friend to stay with her, it was my first time volunteering and she really made my stay comfortable.

Helena was the best host I’ve had on Worldpackers so far. From the first day, she made us feel very welcome and was always well organized with daily tasks and fixed working hours.
The work was fair and simple, such as walking the dogs (Rufi and Pluto <3) and cutting firewood. She respected our personal space and was always willing to help, whether by giving us rides or lending us the car when needed.
She also prepared delicious lunches, which made the experience even better. The house is very comfortable, and the overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend Helena <3

Helena is a wonderful woman who made my first volunteering experience unforgettable. She cooks delicious and different lunches every day, and her home is cozy and welcoming. I fell in love with her sweet cat and two lovely dogs. Our tasks included walking the dogs, painting, gardening, organizing, and other DIY projects. I really enjoyed my time there and learned a lot. One thing to keep in mind is that the house is in a very quiet and remote area, so there's not much around. It's the perfect place if you're looking to disconnect, enjoy nature, and have a peaceful routine.
