Valdivia welcomed us as if it already knew us. Living with Rosario and Gael was like stepping for a moment into a small family where there was always room for us. We had our private room, delicious food, and the freedom to feel part of it. The most valuable thing was discovering the city from the inside: local people, spontaneous plans, long conversations, and corners we probably would have never found on our own. Rosario always included us in her plans, and that made the experience feel truly human.
Thank you Rosario and thank you Gael for making our time in Chile unforgettable <3

I was grateful for the experience with the host Rosario and for an excellent host as well, I spent 3 weeks with my girlfriend, and we had very special moments, Gael, Rosario's son, is also a dear, Rosario included us in events and we had cultural exchanges with people from the region, the tasks were all within what had been agreed, we also went together to see the Alerce Milenario, and a little far from the city, but it's always possible to get a ride or catch a bus, overall it's a good base for exploring Valdivia and the region, I recommend πŸ™βœ¨

Arriving at the host was the best thing that could happen to me in two weeks, it's a beautiful place and I had an incredible time, among laughter, stories, life lessons, and an incredible energy I had with Rosario from the first day. I also grew very fond of Gael, who loved sharing his activities and invited me to watch him in his Mountain Bike class. Gael is an incredible kid :D Without a doubt, a home away from home. Rosario is very flexible with the schedules and activities and you can coordinate with her without a problem. Thank you Rosario, I will carry you in my heart always <3

My experience in Aldea del Viento was wonderful. Rosario is an excellent host and an even better cook, always attentive to the details and to making sure everyone had a great time. The tasks were easy, filled with enjoyment and laughter, as a very good team of volunteers formed. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a natural setting and to have a great time.
