I really enjoyed volunteering at the hostel because first of all it's a beautiful place by the river with friendly staff and tasty breakfast. I appreciated the creative freedom they give you to manage their Instagram profile so you can create content about your experience in the hostel and Rurrenabaque. definitely recommend this project!

Overall I had a great experience! I got sick for 2 out of the 8 days of me staying there and they were very understanding of my situation. Everyone was super welcoming and nice and the hostel itself was very comfortable. The only downside was that the volunteer room didn't have a good working fan so in the early morning it would get really hot in the room. Besides that I don't really have any other complaints.

I had a great time at the hostel! I worked the bar from 3 pm to 8 pm, five days a week, and I was able to be flexible with my days off. The town has great food and very friendly locals, and it's a nice escape from the city. The only downside was that the dorm was a little dirty and needed some maintenance, but it wasn't unbearable. Also, there weren't many of the volunteer perks that were mentioned (like tour, restaurant, or pub discounts). Breakfast was two eggs and bread that you cooked yourself. Overall, I would recommend this experience! Juan is the best!

Overall, my volunteer experience has been very positive. Working five hours a day felt quite manageable and rewarding. The main challenge was the language barrier, as I don't speak Spanish, which sometimes made communication difficult. However, despite this, I found the work itself to be fulfilling and the environment welcoming. I truly appreciate this opportunity and would recommend it to others. It was a great chance to contribute and learn, even with the occasional hiccup in understanding.

My host was very friendly, open and accommodating right from the start. She was always ready to answer any questions I had. I was taught how to bartend by another volunteer, but whenever I got stuck, had a problem or made a mistake, she was always there to help me. All in all, it was a very good experience that I can only recommend to others
