Staying at the hostel was incredible. The staff and volunteers were really welcoming and after a short amount of time we were like family. The working environment was really chill and whenever I had a question or something I wasn't sure of, I had someone I could ask. The hostel itself also carried a chill vibe with a lot of hammocks and a pool to relax in. Also I could practice my Spanish by talking to Guillermo and the rest of the staff. I highly recommend the hostel to anyone.

I had an amazing stay at the hostel. The place is truly beautiful, very comfortable, and every space feels welcoming and well taken care of. The breakfast was a solid 10/10 such a great way to start every day. I'm especially grateful to the staff for being so kind and helpful at all times. Thank you Memo, Dani, and Sergio for always helping with any questions and making the stay even better. What made this experience even more special were the new friendships I made while staying there. Definitely a place I would love to come back to. Highly recommended!

Because of all the high reviews I had high expectations of the volunteer job. Unfortunately the job didn't meet the expectations. The people were nice, but it wasn't organised at all. I didn't get my schedule in time, I didn't get instructions of what type of activities I needed to organise, what kind of content I needed to create, what the other tasks on my schedule mean, etc. Other volunteers were also not well instructed and because of this, there was sometimes tension when something wasn't done like it should be. I still had fun and made friends, but workwise I wouldn't recommend.

Thanks for your feedback. When something on the schedule/tasks is unclear, volunteers are expected to ask so we can clarify. If during your stay some tasks were not clear to you, questions should've been raised at the time. All volunteers receive a detailed manual before arriving, training when they get to the hostel, and a scheduling app that notifies them when shifts are posted. No other volunteer has had this issue, so we believe it relates more to communication than lack of organization.

I couldn't recommend the hostel enough, it truly has been an amazing experience. Starting from the hostel itself which is like a little oasis, where there are always things to do as well as loads of relaxing moments. The staff will treat you more like family then anything, always ready to help you and to include you in all the plans without ever making you feel alone. I spent a month volunteering and it feels like it's only been a couple of days, I am so glad I have found a place like this for my first experience! Will definitely come back (as most of the people do).

Jeanne was one of the most proactive volunteers we’ve ever had. Her attitude was always extremely positive, and no matter what task she was given, she did it with genuine enthusiasm and the best energy. All the other volunteers and guests loved her, and it was truly a pride and a joy to have her with us at Tower Bridge.
