At Five Elements Hostel Frankfurt, volunteers become part of an international and social hostel environment in the center of Frankfurt. We host travelers from all over the world and aim to create a clean, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere for everyone.
The main responsibility is housekeeping from 11am to 3pm, including cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, changing bed linen, and helping keep the hostel organized and comfortable for guests. Volunteers may also help with evening activities such as games nights, pasta nights, beer tastings, or other social events.
We are looking for reliable, open-minded, and positive people who enjoy teamwork and interacting with travelers. Volunteers work 5 days per week and have 2 flexible days off.
In return, you’ll gain experience in hospitality, improve your communication skills, meet people from around the world, and enjoy life in one of Germany’s most international cities.
Volunteers mainly help with housekeeping together with the rest of our hostel team. Housekeeping shifts are from 11am to 3pm and include cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, changing bed linen, and helping keep the hostel clean and welcoming for guests.
Some days, volunteers may also help with evening activities such as games nights, pasta nights, beer tasting, or other social events. These activities usually start around 8pm and last a couple of hours.
Volunteers will never work more than 20 hours per week and will have plenty of free time to explore Frankfurt, meet other travelers, and enjoy the international hostel atmosphere
Many worldpackers have been applying to this position recently. The host will probably not be able to respond to all of the applications, so we recommend that you also apply to other hosts in our community and not just this one :)
