The Experience

We are a family that loves living close to nature, always thinking about new projects to improve the sustainability of the surroundings. You can help us with cleaning the guest apartments. Also in electrical maintenance or in construction, painting, or carpentry; for these positions it is necessary that you have some experience. The gardener is also important along with the work in the forest.

Gemma, Gill and the team are exceptional in attentiveness, hospitality and respect. Although this is my first volunteering experience, I'm sure that finding anyone as good as them would really be difficult, the place's peacefulness is immense and it's a paradise in the middle of the mountains, the tasks requested are always very straightforward and they have great patience in dealing with things you don't know how to do very well, but if you try they will really make an effort to teach you, you'll hardly find anything to complain about while with them, they are fun and super receptive and hospitable Gill and Gemma, thank you very much for everything

It was my and my husband Felipe's first volunteering experience, and we can only thank Gemma for all the affection, attention and support, including before our arrival.

The experience was very positive. The work carried out corresponds exactly to what was agreed, and the working hours are always well aligned, organized and respected.

We are very grateful to Gemma, Gil and Milu for all the warmth, kindness and affection we received during our stay. They made us feel at home from the first day.

We hope to be able to return one day. Thank you very much for everything!

It was my first volunteering experience and it met all the expectations and the details of the proposal. Gemma's apartments are in a privileged natural area and the summer days are endless; there is always some trekking to do nearby or far away. We got comfortable with public transport and we were able to discover quite a bit of the Catalan Pyrenees in our days off. Gemma has great communication skills and was always attentive to what we needed outside and inside the volunteer schedule. I can't wait to come back! I highly recommend it 100%.

Our experience with Gemma and Gil was wonderful. From the first day they made us feel at home and were very attentive to us. We were also lucky to meet a great group of volunteers, with whom we formed a very nice group. The tasks were always clear and there was a lot of flexibility to adapt them to each person’s needs. We left with very good memories and the affection of having met great people. There were things we still hadn't done, so without a doubt we would return. ❤️

It was an incredible and unforgettable volunteering experience. Gemma and Gil always greeted us with immense hospitality and were very attentive to us, making us feel at home from day one. The tasks were simple and easy to carry out, and the surroundings and landscapes made everything even more special. But above all, we were left with the warmth of the people and the good moments shared. Without a doubt, a place I would highly recommend!
