I really had a great time in the project. Waking up every morning in the forest is an amazing experience. I enjoyed working in the permaculture garden and helping to build a garden of aromatic herbs. I liked cooking in the outdoor kitchen but when it rained I didn't enjoy it as much, especially on the coldest days. I met Luana and Dennis, Sarah and Ishi and more members of the community, all of whom enriched my time at the project. There were some social gatherings that made my stay at the project more fun.

From the get-go, I felt comfortable in the application process because of the detailed welcome packet/guide. We were welcomed warmly from the beginning and the whole time it felt like we've been living in the project for a long time. The community is open, active and warm and the forest even more welcoming and so beautiful. The weekly check-in and meeting clarifies what the tasks are and it leaves also a lot of downtime. There's many options for seeing different towns, esp. if you have a car! Overall amazing experience and would do it again. You learn lots about building and permaculture.

Very grateful for my time at the project! Everything was well-organised and clearly communicated by Luana and Dennis, who were very sweet and outgoing, and we got the chance to meet their lovely families who came for their anniversary party. We were provided with all the camping gear to pitch our tents in the forest which was beautiful, whilst working on the permaculture garden and cooking in the open air kitchen. So much love has been put into the project by the people living and volunteering there, caring for the forest and vegetation day in and out. Thank you for this experience :)
