The Experience

We are six people living for many years in a shared old traditional house with our top roof garden and we are looking for help with the maintenance, painting and restauration of the house and gardening as well. We could provide you with shared or private room depending on the hours you would like to work in the house. The atmosphere in the house is very peacefull and its very important for us to keep it that way since many of us work on line.

I had a fantastic experience at the home. The atmosphere is relaxed and harmonious, the people nice to talk to and Fabri is a really warm, welcoming person and always helps when there are questions, concerns or other problems. Thanks for the stay Fabri 👍!

It was a pleasant experience, I spent a month volunteering at the home performing painting tasks.
I felt at ease in a quiet and comfortable place with the people I shared it with.

My experience was good. The shared house is quiet, the atmosphere pleasant, and the location excellent, close to everything. I ended up in a small room on the top floor. Fabri is a great guy, he knows a lot and taught me everything. Regarding volunteering, I carried out different tasks and the schedules can be discussed and adapted. Overall, it was a great experience and I felt part of it during the stay.

It wasn't an internship: it was labor to renovate a house. I had to assemble and fix my own bed, without sheets and with a poor mattress. I did electrical work, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and ran wires between floors. I worked 3 hours in the cold and was told to leave after I set boundaries. My partner bought products and cleaned the filthy kitchen, but was still criticized. I refused to manufacture dowels to save material. I heard remarks I considered demeaning and I was questioned about a missing wallet, without receiving any clarification afterward. The worst experience I've had at WP.
