This was my first volunteer experience and it couldn't have been better. I spent five amazing months at the host, a beautiful and historic place surrounded by nature. Jason and Khris are kind, friendly, and make you feel like part of the family from day one. Dinners were a great way to connect with other people and practice English, and the food was always delicious. They also took us to amazing places on our days off. I had a brilliant time at the host and ended up staying twice as long as I intended. The work was more than fair, especially in exchange for the accommodation, food, company, and cultural experiences. The grounds themselves are stunning and I truly started to think of it as home. I would come back in a heartbeat if I was in the circumstances to do so. While I was there, I was able to go on a couple of field trips with Khris and Jason and the other volunteers, as well as on my own excursions to Derry and the Giant's Causeway. I would absolutely recommend.

I spent 8 weeks in the host and it was by far my favorite experience , Khris and Jason are wonderful people, very welcoming and kind. The location is beautiful, but keep in mind that the work can sometimes be physical and demanding. The meals are delicious and the accomodation is spacious. It's a great place to practice English, meet other volunteers, and have a great time. A huge thanks!

Khris & Jason made my experience magical and unforgettable. It was more than work, it was about sharing moments, stories and good conversations. The White House is spacious and comfortable, the garden is wonderful, and the food is fantastic, they are incredible cooks! The work involves cleaning and a lot of time in the garden, so be ready for physical tasks, it can be quite heavy and dynamic, but it's very rewarding. I highly recommend this experience.
