We need a housekeeper to help us look after the properties here at Walworth Demesne. There is a Barn, a Cottage and the old Manor House where volunteers have their own space. We operate a simple Bed and Breakfast so Meeting and Greeting Guests would be part of the position. Linen, servicing rooms between stays etc would be the main part of the role. Looking after, fruit and vegetables and weeding the flower beds is also part of the role.

I would like to share my experience during my time in Ballykelly, Northern Ireland, where I had the opportunity to work and live with a wonderful family through Worldpackers. But this experience was about much more than just the work. The people I met during my time there made the experience truly special. I had the opportunity to meet different people, make new friends, and experience everyday life in a different country and culture. Thank u so much Jason and Khris See you soon ! I miss you all !

I had a brilliant time at the host and ended up staying twice as long as I intended. The work was more than fair, especially in exchange for the accommodation, food, company, and cultural experiences. The grounds themselves are stunning and I truly started to think of it as home. I would come back in a heartbeat if I was in the circumstances to do so. While I was there, I was able to go on a couple of field trips with Khris and Jason and the other volunteers, as well as on my own excursions to Derry and the Giant's Causeway. I would absolutely recommend.

I spent 8 weeks in the host and it was by far my favorite experience , Khris and Jason are wonderful people, very welcoming and kind. The location is beautiful, but keep in mind that the work can sometimes be physical and demanding. The meals are delicious and the accomodation is spacious. It's a great place to practice English, meet other volunteers, and have a great time. A huge thanks!
