Love meeting everyone, it felt like a little family. I didn't realize exactly how small the village of El Valle before I arrived, it doesn't even have an ATM! But it was such a lovely friendly community, I'd love to come back one day. Leisy, Austin and all of the staff here were so friendly and welcoming, and flexible with working hours which is ideal if your a digital nomad. The accommodation is a really beautiful pod bed dorm, I love the whole wellness concept. I got to go to a couple of dance classes for free while I was there, which was really fun. Can't write everything. But it was great!

My experience at the hostel was amazing. From the moment we got there we felt right at home thanks to Leisy & Austin and all who make El Valle such a wonderful place. We made such special friends that we will hold dear for life and learned so much about the local culture. Everyday was so fun - whether we were working in the kitchen or in the hostel, your ideas and contribution are greatly valued. The hostel was a beautiful place to stay and all our needs were met. My stay at the hostel was incredible! I really enjoyed working in the hostel and the kitchen and learned a lot. I felt very welcomed into the community and had so much fun getting to know all of the staff members, visitors, and other people in the surrounding area. The shared room we stayed in was very clean and spacious and we always had plenty of delicious food for breakfast and lunch. Leisy was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. What an amazing month immersed in the most beautiful jungle nature, only 10 minutes from the beach! So much love and see you soon!

Overall, I had a really good experience at the hostel. The location of El Valle is truly one of a kind, the local community is very welcoming, and the hostel is very clean and comfortable. However, I did feel that some of the supervisors were disrespectful to the volunteers and staff. As this was my first volunteer experience through Worldpackers, I was a bit thrown off by this, and it made the experience less enjoyable. I think with a little more communication and overall understanding, this could be a 10/10 experience!

I had an amazing time at Leisys the hostel. I loved taking care of the plants and being apart of the community. El Valle is a truly magical place where people can enjoy the beauty of paradise. Leisy and Ostin are amazing heart warming people and all of the local staff are so wonderful and welcoming. I will 100% recommend.

I spent two nice months in the kitchen position, learning to prepare delicious dishes with ease. I also had the chance to practice Spanish with the hostel wonderful team and English with other volunteers. The hostel space and gym were amazing, and the hostel was the perfect place to relax and reconnect with myself. A special thank you to Helena, the cook, who was always so kind and welcoming. I've spent 6 weeks at the hostel as a content creator and everything about my volunteering was exceptional. El Valle is a lovely town full of wonderful nature that I never stopped being amazed by. The community is so welcoming and you will feel a part of the family right away. The hostel and spaces available to volunteering are beautiful. The volunteering itself was something I enjoyed a lot and thanks to Leisy and her guidance I also developed skills. Overall, the experience brought a lot of peace and positive energy into my life, I will never forget this chapter and hope to be back soon!

Volunteering at LG was an unforgettable experience that I'll always cherish. The time I spent here was not just about helping out; everyday I was learning new skills, growing personally and living slower with more gratitude for my surroundings. the hostel recipes are amazing and there's plenty of space to use your own creativity in the kitchen. El Valle is a magical place in nature and the beach is just 5 minutes away from LG. Thank you to Leisy and the team for being so welcoming. The hostel is beautiful, clean and just a few minutes from the beach ! I would highly recommend volunteering with Leisy + everyone at the hostel. From the accommodation to the food, to the many lovely people you meet this was an amazing experience. I was here for around a month and loved every bit of it, I only wish I'd learnt more Spanish before I came! If you're looking to be surrounded by nice people in a heavenly location, don't hesitate! Also all of the local people are all so kind and welcoming - I felt at ease the moment I got here. You're located just a 2 minute walk from the beach + there's taxi's if you want to commute around. I will be coming again
