I'm very grateful for all the skills I could learn along the way, from planting trees, to treating wood, making fires, or making trails. I had a great experience! The place is peaceful and beautifully located on top of the hills, such a lovely spot to unwind. It can get chilly, so definitely bring a jacket! There's a variety of activities, and if you're up for helping out, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. The volunteers' house is very simple, and you might be sharing a small space with a few others, so just be prepared for that. Steven is an amazing host, a talented musician and a genuinely kind person. It was a real pleasure spending time with him. Thank you and I see you again!!

Steven was a great host, very attentive, helpful and willing if you need anything. I have a great time in the property, very peaceful place in the middle of nature. This place is to learn about eco life style and connecting with lots of nature! The house for the volunteers was very cozy and comfortable, the one thing is to heat up the water for the shower you need to build a fire and wait a but its a great experience and can take lots from it. very enjoyable place with really good fruits to snack on.

Two very pleasant weeks have passed! The services were varied: carpentry, planting, cleaning, painting… Steven has a lot of knowledge about a sustainable life! Everything runs on solar energy, get ready for an immersion period! We stayed in a cozy little chalet, Steven took us to explore the city and we had some really nice conversations! In addition to everything, we practiced a lot of English because although he can speak Portuguese the other volunteer was American and didn't know English! Thank you for the exchange, Steven!!!!

Volunteering at the reserve was an incredibly special experience. The tasks are diverse, interesting and flexible, and I learned many things that I will carry with me for life. Steven is a sensational person, with an incredible story, and Maia is adorable. The campfire nights were very special moments. The space is wonderful, with trails and beautiful landscapes.
