Really great experience, I learned more Spanish here than in any other country I’ve been in. Great facilities, good vibes, amazing hosts and so fun being with the kids. I will say that you should remember it’s southern hemisphere so I wouldn’t recommend coming in winter because it gets cold and there’s limited usage of the radiators. Other than that it was amazing and I miss it already

The project was the first time volunteering for me and I can only say it was one of the best travel experiences I ever had! Dania and the whole team are just amazing, so kind and always keen to help you with anything you might need. The first two weeks of my stay were vacations and the project had to move so I would help with the relocation and any tasks related. In the new house (which is amazing by the way!) the tasks were basically preparing food for the kids, some cleaning and helping the staff with anything that might come up. I can only express my love for Dania, Dani, Itzia and the whole team!!

My time in the project was awesome. We helped with the Move to the new house, which is just a few minutes outside Villarica. The work was very easy and well explained, we had a lot of free time. We even got to bake a typical German Kuchen with the kids. All the parents and Dania and her family were super kind and helpful. Thank you again for this amazing experience, I hope I can come back someday. I can only recommend this to everyone There is a lot of activities to do in the area around Villarica.

I had a nice time volunteering with the project! Weekdays went quick: cooking for the kids + accompanying them in the classroom. Children in the program were tough. Much physical conflict and emotional sensitivity. Discipline was limited. As someone who has lots of experience with kids, I had trouble grasping the methodology and wish I had more opportunities to understand it. The accommodation is unheated, must wear very warm clothes!! Weekends nice for exploring Villarrica and Pucón. Ubering into Villarrica is safest, the walk is 30mins on a main road. Food shopping and cooking for yourself.

It was my first experience in worldpackers as a volunteer and I can say it was a fantastic one, without any doubt. The tasks are very well explained and the working hours are respected. I've learned a lot about the practice of waldorf education and Dania shared with me everything about the aim of the association and her experience. I recommend this project for those who have patience and willing to discover a bit more about alternative education. Moreover it was a pleasure meeting Dania, Itzia, Paloma and all the chidren. the project is a dream in the middle of Villarrica countryside. Gracias :)
