I had a great experience overall, with a really good atmosphere among the volunteers and the beach only a 10-minute walk away. Spyros was very kind, although he was a little hard to read at first, but I got to know him better and realised he was a nice person. The restaurant can get quite stressful when busy, so hospitality experience is recommended, although I had none and still managed to learn. The main downside was the dorm room, which could have been better.

This was a great volunteer opportunity! You get so close with the other volunteers and meet lots of new people. The beaches nearby are so beautiful. We were fed very well and all the restaurant's food was amazing. It can get a bit chaotic during busy peak season so I'd recommend this mostly to people who already have hospitality experience but it's also a great chance to learn new skills. All the cats there are super cute and cuddly as well! Definitely recommend.

I had a great experience volunteering at the hotel&the hotel. Unfortunately i stayed shorter than i thought, but i had so much fun. Its a big group of volunteers, we do everything together, so it feels like a big family. The food is really good and the accommodation very comfortable. You work hard, but at least you can make some tips. I totally recommend this place, i miss very much. <3

A huge thank you to Spyros for giving me this opportunity. This was my first experience working as a bartender, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better place to start. Spyros is a wonderful, understanding and easy-going host, and the hotel & the hotel is such a beautiful place to work. Being behind the bar also gave me the privilege of watching the most incredible sunsets in Himarë. I'm truly grateful for everything I learned, the confidence I gained, and all the memories I'm taking with me. Thank you for everything!

The hotel & the hotel was my first Worldpackers experience so far, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone - I would have stayed longer if I could and genuinely hope to return in the future! The environment was so welcoming and I quickly felt like I was part of a family, which was very difficult to leave. The work was hard at times but fast paced, stimulating, and made our regular post-work wines/ social activities all the more rewarding. I am so grateful to Spyros, Valentina and the whole crew for making it one of the most memorable months of my life. Thank you so much for looking after us!
