For me, being at the sítio was like receiving a big gift, especially after all the other volunteering experiences I have gone through. Here I found something very precious: time, privacy, security and freedom. And, besides all that, the beauty of the place, which for me will be unforgettable. The work in serving guests and in preparing the site’s special cakes was really rewarding. In many moments, I came to feel more a guest than a volunteer. Volunteering at Cafetal is a great opportunity to gain new knowledge about the different stages of coffee, it's a whole new world!!
The place is beautiful, the chalets are super comfortable and the food is very abundant.
Márcia and Tufi are incredibly generous people and each of the people who work there has a huge heart.

It was my first experience with the WP and, honestly, it couldn't have been better! Márcia is very attentive and careful with the well-being of volunteers, and she was always available to answer all the questions. Tuffi taught me about roasting and even gave us an accordion show! All the staff at the site, Neide, Cris, Bruna and, especially, Joel, Lúcio and Dona Luiza, with whom I worked more closely, are people of great light and welcomed me as a longtime friend. And the other volunteers, Bruna, Poly, Romi and Martín, are people I hope to meet again!

An unforgettable experience! The site sits on top of a mountain and is also surrounded by mountains. From inside the Chalet with the door and open windows, it is possible to appreciate the mountain on the other side. The beauty of the landscape exceeded my initial expectations. I took dozens of photos. The activities are tranquil and I can consider that there is even an activity that for me was addictive, which was using a certain tool to pull coffee at the end of the shift. I also contributed with help in creating an Excel spreadsheet. Tuffi and Márcia are friendly and attentive.

Our experience at the coffee plantation was excellent! We were warmly welcomed from the start. The hosts Marcia and Tuffi are wonderful people, always very helpful, attentive, and flexible. The staff who work there are also always willing to help. We were able to learn about the process of specialty coffee and participate in it.
The place is amazing. A chalet in the middle of the mountains, ideal for those who enjoy natural and tranquil environments.
Special mention for Pimienta, the dog who lives there, always very companionable. I highly recommend it; I would come back always!

The coffee plantation experience was the first I did with Worldpackers, and it couldn't have been better. Marcia and Tuffi are open and very generous people; I enjoyed the moments we shared, the conversations were always enriching. The space they offer is very comfortable and quiet, and they have flexibility to adapt the tasks on the coffee plantation to personal activities. We were able to take the guided tour they offer to visitors, to learn about coffee production, to get to know the nearby towns and to take lovely walks. I would always come back! Returning to the o sítio was incredible. The work was intense in the cafeteria and loja, but gostoso e agradável. Tuffi e funcionários nos ajudam em tudo. A host mesmo à distância presta total suporte. Fizemos pizza e fomos a uma festa junina, uma integração legal de voluntários e host. Contato com natureza, bons insumos pra cozinhar, acomodação em chalé privado. o sítio é um lugar pra quem já tem maturidade e autonomia pra “morar sozinho” e se virar. Durante a semana é calmo e contemplativo. Nos fds agitado e intenso. Super recomendo!
