The Experience

2 minutes from the Uetliberg train station, we have an idyllic resort, a large garden in the midst of the forest. Sometimes we hold family gatherings, events or ceremonies. I am looking for people who like to help me with planting, housekeeping, taking care of the pool (in the summer), or who has electrician or plumbing skills. Sometimes I would like help with technology on Mac or social media. I am open to creative and inspiring ideas.

This was one of the most beautiful experiences I've ever had. A house in the mountains, her cuddly cat, food straight from the garden. I genuinely felt like I was living in a fairytale book. I'm so grateful for the opportunity she gave me to stay there and experience the local way of life. She's one of the most authentic and warm-hearted people you'll get to know, and I highly recommend staying with her. Unfortunately, I had to end my stay earlier than expected because of work demands. Otherwise, I honestly would've loved to extend my stay even longer. 🤍

Jaqueline has a really cozy home and the place feels like something from a fairytale. My tasks involved quite many things, but mainly helping to organize events. We had duscussed about the tasks and hours before my stay, and I feel that the completed work matched quite well to the discussions. I really enjoyed my stay! She made me feel very welcome.

I had a wonderful experience staying with Jacqueline! She is a kind and welcoming host, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. It's a great place to reconnect with nature, get local recommendations, and learn about different cultures. The only small issue was an unexpected request to build a website from scratch for her daughter, which we hadn't discussed before my arrival. However, Jacqueline was understanding, and overall, my experience was very positive. I'd recommend this to travelers looking for a peaceful stay with a lovely host!

Located in a nature paradise, the guest house Sonnenbuehl was a true hidden gem and pleasure to stay at. I ended up getting tasked with developing the brand from the existing logo and some marketing/email campaigns, along with basic chores like laundry. I think we experienced some major communication issues that we both admitted we were shocked about because we've never experienced such difficulties, but we both put in a lot of effort and patience to solve any issues. As a Floridian😅I'd never seen a duvet cover and I think she got really annoyed that I wasn't sure how it worked🫠

Jacqueline replied

Bea is a very slow learner, i had to show the same things X times.
So i am very glad she was open to learn.
That why we had our ups and downs.
