My time at the project was wonderful! Work hours were flexible, and communication about our chores was very clear: I knew precisely what I had to do every day. the project is not the most touristy town you could visit, but it is easy to get from there to Luxembourg, Maastricht, and Bruxelles if you would like to travel. I would highly recommend going here if you want to learn about gardening, sustainability, and permaculture, and in general, just have a good, chill time :)

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I really enjoyed it! I learned a lot, stepped out of my comfort zone, and enjoyed the varied tasks. Katy and her family were lovely and welcoming. I enjoyed spending time with the kids and other volunteers! A few things to keep in mind: I knew I was coming to a farm, but I didn't expect insects and spiders in my bedroom. The dogs are also very affectionate and often around. I was looking forward to the permaculture course, but unfortunately, it wasn't available during my stay. Overall, it was a lovely experience I'm grateful for! 🤍

What can I say! Katy and her family were so wonderful from start to finish. The hospitality was great and I had such a lovely time at the farm. We ate lovely home cooked meals every evening, and spent the day doing different tasks around the farm such as planting garlic, painting, caring for the sheep, cutting weeds etc. The working hours were very flexible and we got to have lovely lie ins every day if we wanted! There are lots of lovely pets around like their two big dogs, who are very friendly! I would highly recommend, and if you can stay for a good few weeks, 2 wasn't enough! x

I had the most wonderful experience at this farm. Katy and her family were so welcoming and the volunteers that she chose were such a wonderful dynamic. Tasks were very clear and volunteers were treated with trust and respect to complete them as needed. We learned so much about taking care of animals and permaculture methods in the garden (like no-dig). Katy is so very intelligent and shared her knowledge when she could, which was just fascinating. In our free time we could explore the nearby town and Luxembourg is very close by. I loved my experience so much and hope to return someday!!

I enjoyed my tine at this place so much! Katy and her family felt super welcoming, made me feel a part of their wonderful family. They cooked great meals and allowed us to cook for them too! The work was easy and i found working on the farm and with the animals to be a lot of fun. It was interesting to learn about permaculture, and to get to know Katy too! I had time to read books from her giant book collection, to see the local sights and even go into Luxembourg which was lovely. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and very enjoyable to explore. I plan to come back here in the future!

My experience with Katy and her family is something I will always remember with gratitude. From the very first day, she welcomed me like part of her own family, always caring for me with kindness and generosity. Staying with her was much more than just being on a farm. I will deeply miss the afternoons with the children, the delicious meals, and all the special moments we shared. Above all, Katy taught me valuable life lessons that will stay with me forever and have made me a better person. This experience will always have a special place in my heart, and I truly hope to return soon ❤️❤️❤️

Wonderful place if you like gardening, farming, being creative and a calm zone. I don't have enough words to thank Katy for this opportunity, if you open yourself to them they will do it to you, and that's something I strongly suggest. The tasks were diverse and she will trust you are doing it and guide you every time she can, she'll also let you decide your work hours (which is superrrb). The kids are awesome, very respectful and great French teachers, they will look to spend some time with you haha. I'm glad I chose this volunteer, I'll come back for sure

The initial plan was to stay for two weeks and because of the joy I felt I extended my stay for another two weeks! In this one month period I felt calmer more confident because of Katy trust, it was winter so a lots of mud and hard labor made me feel invincible after the shift it's a free workout in nature (euphoric), I loved the room it had a window so if you want you can let the sun wake you up, the working hours are very flexible, God bless the kids they are amazing there laughter around the house made me feel nostalgic to my childhood. At the end, thank you Katie for your hospitality 🤍
