This is a place that could also be called paradise. I had the opportunity to know the energy and quality of people that this place attracts around the world, to dance and learn forró, to learn spiritual practices to connect with the present. It is not just a holistic center; it is also a home for those who seek to expand their consciousness and their spirit. The experience here is delivered with the same warmth with which you would treat your own home. Shamak is kind, cheerful, and full of experience. If you allow yourself, he can teach you a lot. Tell him that for any invitation he makes you, it will surely be unforgettable 🫀

Celeste is a wonderful being full of energy, enthusiasm, joy, and humility. I hope to see her again; by the way, everyone asks about her. Celeste is one of the most radiant beings I have met; she doesn't walk, she hops like a happy rabbit. We surfed together, we danced, I tattooed her, we walked around and she helped us a lot.

My first experience as a volunteer was transformative. At the Center, I was welcomed by Shamak (Adriano), an amazing host who introduced me to the magic of Imbituba: beaches, dunes, surfing, waterfalls and breathing practices. Working on his life project is inspiring; I feel that serving there is a form of prayer. Besides the beauty of the place, I made deep friendships that I will carry with me for life. Between exchanges, meditation and forró, I found my strength and lived spirituality in practice. Gratitude, Shamak, for opening the doors to this sacred land. I recommend to everyone who seeks truth and connection!

Michele is dear; it was very beautiful to have her here and to have been the host of your first experience on this trip in this new life process. Michele knows perfectly the art of entering, being in, and leaving places. Mature, with a pleasant smile and a will to live and to serve.

Disappointing experience. From the profile promises (breakfast, internet, classes and excursions), only the ride and the laundry were delivered. The arrangement was bamboo work, but we were placed in heavy civil construction. The room was very dirty, which caused me strong allergies. There are no meals included, and there is a strict restriction on cooking or storing meat on the property. The host admitted that the profile needs updating. The place has potential, but it delivers nothing of what it sells on the platform.

The experience at the center was very interesting in the sense of allowing me to learn about tasks I had never done; it helped me strengthen my ability to deal with diverse situations. And also for the contact with nature and the beauties of the region.

No? I arrived at Air, the place now. To the place I was well attended. Via the WhatsApp contact. Shamak Adriano, he spoke about the project. He also spoke a little about his history. Of him. ...everything by video call. I would like to be there one day to recommend someone. But the important thing is that there are hosts to help travelers. I hope. When the project is 100% I will be there, sharing my story. And also presenting something from my travels where I walk among the stars

The place has 1 room for volunteers and the room he offered us since the first contact; he said there was no electricity but that he would run wiring for our stay; reality? He argued because we pulled a bedside lamp, there were 2 mattresses thrown on the floor and a hole in the wall that he called a window and he did not allow fixing it during the shift. On the 1st day, shifts from 9 to 13, then from 18:30 to 02. 1st task: clean a tent that has been open for more than a month in the middle of the bush; I found a spider, a scorpion and his stance was: if it bites you, it's nothing. Don't go, guys, he thinks we are servants not volunteers and he doesn't fulfill what was agreed.

Each one reflects what they carry inside; I am grateful for the learning and I hope to develop more sensitivity to only accept those who are in tune with us and with our wonderful space (in the opinion of most of us who feel grateful to be here). I am grateful for the fact that 98% of the brothers and sisters who were with us left grateful. It is impossible to please everyone.

It had everything to be a different experience at a holistic center with a sustainable project in the middle of nature. But what they call sustainable was basically just filth. The host is a good person but has zero sense of priority, respect, and consideration for volunteers, treating them as servants; he would order people around and sit down.
We stayed in a treehouse that smelled bad, was full of mosquitoes, moldy mattresses and without a window (we pinned a cloth to help a little with the cold on the first night we arrived, and even with the willingness and readiness to install the windows ourselves, there was no priority from the host).

They stayed for 3 days, basically did nothing, and those comments as a gift. God bless, life teaches

Shamak is great. I stayed in a comfortable place. With good food, they were patient, teaching me things about work, such as plastering, for example, and there were also very beautiful meditation spaces, experiences of ancestral medicines, some of them through volunteering, but the space was available. I loved that place and I feel it has a lot of potential to keep growing. I also loved the holistic community of Barra de Ibiraquera
I only have thanks!!!

Ezequiel is a great being, bringing with him ancient wisdom, humble, true, available, open, grateful. For me, these qualities speak volumes; they helped us a lot, doors are always open.

Aho! Gratitude to Shamak and the center for the warm welcome and the opportunity to be in this beautiful natural setting. The Aldeia is near the dunes and the sea, with which I connected a lot. The purpose is very beautiful, connecting nature, presence, and meditation. The space is under construction and improving, like every community. I learned some things about construction, but it's an area I didn't find easy to learn. The host is super nice and always open to dialogue, conversations, circles, holistic activities; he took us to beaches and local spots.

Jackson is very handsome, with the good energy of a Northeasterner, always smiling and making everyone smile. Polite, eager to learn, a friend to everyone, and to this day people ask me about him. I miss that little brother.

I felt well received, I interacted with the host and the other volunteers. I ended up helping to continue the construction of the holistic center.
But unfortunately, in one of the first early mornings, I had the bad surprise of a scorpion in the volunteers' common area, so I didn't have the courage to risk encountering it again. But everything else was good!
