Volunteering with Naufal and Toukta as an English teacher at the primary school was one of the most beautiful experiences I've had. From day one, the kids were incredibly heartwarming, and we built a wonderful connection that made every day at school special. During days off we spent an amazing time together at the beach or the waterfalls. Naufal was also extremely supportive and helped me obtain my TEFL certificate. I was meant to stay two weeks but ended up staying a full month. Leaving the kids was truly hard. I will keep each one of them in my heart forever. Wish I could stay longer 🥹💖🫶

Volunteering in Yala was a very laid back experience! The accomodation and hosts were lovely. It is central to most things in the town. I also loved the school I volunteered and got to be in a range of classes. I basically just provided the students with a native english speaker to practice their skills with.

The experience at the school has been one of the best experiences of this trip, since I was able to live a very local experience and everything has been very fun. Working with the children has been an enriching experience, and I have truly enjoyed it a lot. It has an ideal location, and I have even been able to go to the gym in my free time. The work is really not demanding, and Nafal and Tusa have always been generous and attentive to me, making sure that I am comfortable at all times.

To whom it may concern, Naufal was an excellent host. He absolutely delivered on everything he promised. The work was super relaxed, fun and well outlined by Naufal. All facilities necessary were provided, in addition to this the use of a motorbike and bicycle were super handy to explore Yala. I felt I was extremely welcome in Naufal's home but also free to spend my time how I chose. With a free gym and running track around the corner I felt right at home. When it came to work in school, all the children were eager to learn about me and practice English. Awesome experience, would recommend.

It was an enriching experience, I recommend it for travellers, who want to contribute to the education of children, since being in a city like Yala with local people, seeing their customs, their habits, their way of communicating, is a culture very different from that of my country and that is why it also helped me to see the world from another perspective. What a wonderful experience! Naufal and Tukta are so welcoming and have so much generosity to give to both you and the students. In the mornings, we spent time at a school playing educational games or assisting the teacher in their lesson with the students. They are all are so happy to have you!! And in the afternoons, we taught for an hour at the school, where English lessons were so much fun and engaging for the students. Thank you for such a great experience! In the afternoon, we would spend one hour at the school, which made learning English fun & exciting for students! I had an amazing stay with Tukta and Naufal. Their project in this part of Thailand, where little English is spoken, is so meaningful, and I'm really happy I could be part of it. I taught in two schools — planning activities and songs in one and assisting in the other. The kids were so excited to have foreigners, and their smiles stay with me. Every afternoon at the school we stamped their “travel passports,” a beautiful way for them to discover the world. I can truly recommend this project to anyone who wants to make a real impact and spend time with amazing kids.
