This has been our first volunteering experience and we couldn't be happier! A perfect place if what you want is tranquility and nature; the volunteer team is very large and there are always things to do. The campsite is isolated, but you can bike to the market and the beaches. There are facilities regarding schedules and tasks to be able to coordinate if you’re in a couple. Very happy and we encourage everyone to come volunteer at the camping!!!

The campsite has been our first volunteer experience and it has been amazing. We have met very nice people who welcomed us with open arms from day one. A perfect place if you are looking for nature and peace, as it is quite isolated from everything (there's a supermarket and restaurants nearby). The tasks were the agreed ones and the schedule allowed us to balance them with other leisure activities. In addition, personal needs are taken into account and the whole team is very well looked after. Without a doubt, we recommend the experience at Fazenda Alegría.

My experience at Facenda Alegría was one of the best I have had; I loved the organization, the team, Roberto and Dani are wonderful and very present people, really kind and peaceful, always with the intention of guiding everything in the best way. It has been a very healthy environment where I met beautiful people, the camping is incredible, I really loved everything about Facenda Alegría, I am enormously grateful for the space and the time shared, you will always be in my heart ❤️

I loved this experience🤍 at first it was strange, the place seemed VERY quiet to me, but I swear that with time it's what you appreciate most and you feel the lovely magic of the place. You really enjoy nature and the connection with the volunteers within that tranquility.
It's very far from downtown Rio de Janeiro; if you plan to go there a lot I don't recommend it. But day to day, that everyday life, that tranquility is the most beautiful🌱
The host Roberto you don't see him in person very often, but if you need something, he responds quickly via WhatsApp, very flexible if you need anything. Thank you very much✨️
