My days in San Pedro de Atacama were made beautiful because of meeting Manu. He is such an interesting soul, full of high-frequency energy, and I feel truly honored to have crossed paths with him. If you have some knowledge of astronomy, that would be ideal—Manu's team really values such talent. And if you love nature, you'll absolutely fall in love with this place! Grateful for our encounter. Wishing the home Astronomy all the best and continued growth!❤️❤️❤️

I'm very, very grateful to life and to Manu for making this desert volunteering experience possible. It has been beautiful to connect with the stars each night, to be able to share my interest and enthusiasm for astronomy with others, to marvel at the telescopes and to share this joy and wonder with the tourists and the other volunteers.
Manu has always been clear, fair with the schedules and conditions, and very, very generous in sharing his home and his energy. I only have gratitude for everything I learned and experienced, such a lovely experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

My experience here was wonderful and very enriching. Manu, the host, is a person with a big heart... Willing to share his knowledge, communicative, flexible and generous, he does everything possible to make the volunteers feel at ease. I was able to learn a lot about night photography and about the stars, which are topics I love. Moreover, the connection we had among the team has become friendships that I carry with me in my heart. I deeply appreciate the opportunity to live this experience and I always wish the Vênus la casa family all the best! 🙏💙✨

Manu is an excellent host, very attentive and available, and also a person with a lot to offer, with many life experiences that were very nourishing for my path. I appreciate the trust and, without a doubt, I would return. Beautiful to connect with the stars, learn the Andean cosmovision, and in that share with people 🙏🏽🙌🏼

It was my first experience at worldpackers and it was a great choice to start, San Pedro is touristic and welcoming, and living it all as a volunteer was incredible. The weather got in the way and we stayed most of the period without tours because of the clouds and rain, but we had good exchanges. The tasks were varied: preparing the cooler, serving the cocktail, organizing and taking the photos. Manu's house is great and comfortable, and the balcony is perfect for coffee and playing with Mandala. The internet wasn't good, so it's worth checking that if you work remotely. Manu was fair and flexible, an experience that marked me a lot!

10 days in Solor, 4 km from San Pedro. Small, cozy cabin with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, laundry, and solar shower. 4 people; host and his girlfriend, me and another WP. Each one has a role in the tours, fair division of the work. I made the cocktail. The weather prevented some tours, and we helped with the house cleaning spontaneously. We did 3 outings paying only the minimum costs while the host drove. Good food available. Points of attention: smoker's house, a cat, not enough internet and mobile signal. To work online, it was necessary to go to San Pedro to cafés. 1 hour on foot or 18 minutes by bike if available

My experience at the house was one of the most incredible things that happened to me in life. Manu is a wonderful person and an incredible leader, in every sense, professionally and spiritually. I would do it a thousand times and I recommend it to everyone. The house is a one-way path, and alongside the house, that path is very beautiful to walk. I am a new person thanks to this volunteer work. I will be forever grateful to the staff.

The days I spent at Vênus were beautiful and precious. Manu is a giant of a person, with a lot of life and professional wisdom. He welcomed me in a genuine way, taught me a lot, and made me feel comfortable being myself during the tours. The activities are very easy, dynamic, and provide real learning and contact with people from different nationalities and with nature. The house, located in the middle of a beautiful and tranquil oasis, has everything you need for the stay, as well as bicycles available for free access to downtown San Pedro. I highly recommend the experience <3

I came to stay 10 days and ended up extending to 45 days. Acting as an astro guide and astrophotography photographer in the Atacama went far beyond technique; it was a dive into the wisdom of indigenous peoples who read this sky for millennia. Uniting science with the Andean cosmovision brought a unique spiritual meaning to the experience. Manuel is a fantastic host and gives total freedom to integrate this ancestral connection into the tours. I leave with incredible photos and a soul filled by having lived the cosmos in a sacred and deep way. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a real desert experience and our cosmos!

This guy is pure dynamite, full of energy and a desire to learn. He has a lot of willingness, attitude, and aptitude. We loved his work and his company; he has a lot of experience in many things, which complements his life as a whole. Italo is already part of our family, he can come back whenever he wants. Our project is dynamic and needs people like Italo; the clients loved him from the start. Thanks.

The experience was amazing! Being in touch with the sky in such a special place is something I will never forget. I could learn photography techniques under the moonlight and the vastness of the Milky Way, observe stars and planets through the telescope, understand more about the house and the importance of the Atacama in this regard. I also learned a lot about the local Indigenous culture through Manu's books and our visit to the archaeology museum. Manu was a helpful and fun host, a good-hearted person, very flexible and attentive at all times. Your house is cozy and has a view that brings peace. Grateful 🙏🏽
