I stayed here painting murals in 2 rooms and it was a fun & creative experience that ended up being a really good time. I got to meet other international travelers, join the hostel's events, and the times of the day I painted were flexible as long as I got the painting done. With mural work the hours per day can vary. The guys that work here are cool and a good vibe to be around. Also Istanbul is super interesting the hostel's location is super convenient you can walk everywhere

I stayed here painting a mural for the girls dorm for 10ish days and it was a fun & creative experience that ended up being a really good time. I got to meet a lot of other international travelers, join the hostel's events, and the times of the day I painted were flexible, as long as the artwork got done. With mural work, it varies by day- sometimes it is an 8 hour day and sometimes it is a 4 hour day. The guys that work here were cool and a good vibe to be around. Also Istanbul is interesting and there is tons to do and the hostel's location is super convenient you can walk everywhere

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel. The place has a very social vibe, with instruments available — we had some really fun jam sessions with guests and volunteers. Tasks were varied (check-ins, cleaning, common area) and easy to learn, and I could work independently. The team was friendly and welcoming. The first week was a bit chaotic due to Ramadan and travel disruptions, but things improved quickly. The staff room could get a bit messy, but overall it was fine. I'd definitely recommend it for a fun, social experience in Istanbul!

I loved volunteering at the hostel from the first day to the last. The atmosphere is perfect if you're looking for backpacker vibes: the common area makes it very easy to make new friends and socialize. The work is very simple, and lbo and Hicham are always willing to help and make volunteers feel at home. The hostel is in a great location on the European side, convenient for easily reaching various parts of the city. In general, I recommend this experience to anyone who wants to discover a magnificent city while living in a friendly environment. See you soon, dear Istanbul!
