Danny and Bee are truly wonderful hosts and kind people. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, both at their place and in Vietnam in general. They are always willing to help you in any situation where you need assistance, and they strive to do things correctly and are receptive. Teaching at the school is fun, although my best memories are of our outings together exploring interesting spots in the city, listening to Danny's explanations or chatting with our Vietnamese hosts. Tuy Hoa is a small, unluxurious city, but I hope everyone has a pleasant time here.

This was my first volunteering experience and it couldn't of gone any better!! I absolutely loved my time at the home homestay and would have loved to stay longer if I didn't have somewhere else to be. The other volunteers were such kind people and all easy to get along with, felt like a family with everyone that I shared my time with here. The work hours of either 5-8:30 or 6-9:30 felt very reasonable leaving you the whole day free. You could use this time to get personal stuff done or spend it with the other volunteers. Definitely recommend this opportunity!!

Danny and Bee are very kind hosts who will make sure you have a nice time with them. It's easy to see how much they care about their English teaching. I had a great time and befriended many Vietnamese and International volunteers.

An incredible experience, Danny and Bee were so welcoming straight away. The food and home stay itself was great, and they organised a couple of interesting activities for us. Additionally they provided alot of information about the area, and Vietnamese culture in general. Lots of little cafes and shops within walking/cycling distance. Then to get into the city it's only a short motorbike ride (or cheap grab ride.) The teaching itself was very fulfilling and rewarding. Was lovely to connect with kids of all different ages and get to know them better over several classes.

I had such an amazing time at the home Homestay! Bee and Danny are very welcoming and are always interested in learning more about you and wanting to share their knowledge and really work to make your experience memorable. The best part though has to be living with the other volunteers - we had so much fun exploring new places, going to the beach/cafes, and playing games/eating/ doing karaoke together! I learned so much here about good skills, techniques, and tools to help teach English and I really enjoyed my time at the homestay and all the yummy food! I HIGHLY SUGGEST!

I absolutely loved my stay here and was so sad to leave! I very quickly felt like I was apart of the family and it was easy to feel comfortable and welcomed. Danny and Bee were such lovely hosts, always trying to help me in my travels. They really make it a worthwhile stay. I loved the opportunity to meet other people from Vietnam and elsewhere and I feel that I have made some really good friends! Working with the kids was really rewarding and at times quite fun :) Phu Yen is such a lovely town, if you have the chance to go and stay with these lovely hosts, I would seriously recommend it!

We had such a great time volunteering with Danny and Bee and would definitely recommended this opportunity. They were incredibly welcoming and generous, making us feel at home from day one.

Teaching in the schools was a rewarding experience. We loved getting involved with fun activities for the kids such as cookie making, pancake making and ring the bell. The students were so enthusiastic and eager to learn.

Danny and Bee are busyy running the schools, but they still made the time to show us around, introduce us to local food and culture, and organise activities for the volunteers!

I had a great stay with Danny and Bee at the home Homestay. They were awesome hosts, making me feel welcome and were very kind and hospitable throughout my stay. The other volunteers were great too! I loved helping teach English to a range of different age groups. The students were enthusiastic and eager to learn which made the classes fun! Danny and Bee provided most meals and organised some lovely cultural experiences including a Pagoda visit and Vietnamese coffee and spring roll workshops. If you're looking for a meaningful volunteering experience, I would highly recommend the home Homestay.

This was a great experience and pretty much exactly what the description says. Most of your meals are provided, and the hosts and other volunteers tend to be really friendly and helpful if you need anything. It was also fun getting to go on day trips to explore the different beaches. Also the dogs at the homestay are so cute and playful! And if you're lucky you'll get to experience events with the kids like field trips, cookie making, and trivia competitions! Just be aware the teaching work can get tiring if you’re not used to working with kids but the hosts are flexible with giving days off

Amazing experience with Danny and Bee! They provide a great balance of teaching, cultural immersion, and freedom to explore. The students were wonderful, the scooter made it easy to see the area, and Danny went out of his way to share Vietnamese history and culture with us. The summer camp trip with 100+ students was a highlight and one of the main reasons we hope to return next year. I highly recommend this opportunity to adaptable volunteers with a heart for teaching and a desire to experience authentic Vietnam.
