I enjoyed every moment at the the guest house. Taiga the guest house a very kind and laid-back person. He takes care of his volunteers' concerns — he even came with me to the town hall for my registration. Working hours were always respected. Thanks to the guest house, I was able to see a local side of Motobu and I can only recommend it. If you want a quiet time and to get to know local life and sea life, this will be the perfect volunteering option for you. Moo the goat was also the best staff member!

I really enjoyed volunteering in the guest house. Taiga the guest house very flexible and makes sure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. It's a great opportunity to meet travelers, spend time with the cats and Moo the goat, and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. I definitely recommend this experience!

If you want to connect with nature, amazing people, and experience the guest house in an authentic way, the guest house the place for you. A normal work day starts with room cleaning/bed making followed by various outdoor tasks. You can expect to sleep in a bunk beds in the same room as other volunteers/guests (gender separated). Taiga and his family truly cares about the guests and volunteers (and animals!), and their kindness and hospitality was really appreciated.

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had. This is Okinawa is perfect for those who want to connect with nature and enjoy a peaceful environment, away from the city but still close at the same time.
I felt part of a beautiful family from the beginning, everyone was so kind and welcoming. I shared meaningful conversations and special moments with guests and the team.
This space deserves to be cared for with love and respect, just as it already is. It was a pleasure to help with daily tasks and be part of this beautiful project.
I would definitely come back. Thank u for everything

The guest house so far the best guesthouse/hostel i have stayed during my trips. Located in a peaceful location in the countryside, perfect for relaxing and enjoy nature without being isolated from the town, as it the guest house easily accessible. I met amazing, fun amd extremely friendly people there, guests and other volunteers. The host the guest house just the happiest man I have ever met and always cares to help you with everything you need. The tasks were easy to do, working hours were mostly in the morning and they were always according to the description in Worldpackers, days off too. I highly recommend it!

I had the best time at the guest house ♥️ Even if they are busy with their child, the hosts will still give their best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! The work the guest house varied as you help with rooms, construction and making everything better, and their place the guest house in the middle of the jungle but close enough to a big city so it's a perfect place to wind down. You get to use a car and electric bike which makes it easy to explore the island. Plus you get a comfy outdoor space with hammocks and 4 lovely cats ^w^ Overall I can only recommend this place if you want a calm retreat from the city!

We had an absolutely lovely time at the guest house. The volunteer work the guest house easy and relaxed and Taiga the guest house a great host. We got to meet very nice people, from volunteers to guests and we explored gorgeous parts of the guest house. Taiga took us diving which was an amazing experience that I recommend. All in all, it was a great experience that I'd recommend to anyone who wants to spend some relaxing time in a beautiful place meeting great people!

My girlfriend and I had a brilliant time at the guest house. Taiga the guest house super kind and very laid back. The work the guest house mainly preparing the hostel for guests and working on any projects that Taiga might have, I'm hoping that we can come back and see a sauna and DJ booth next time we visit! The hostel the guest house in the middle of the jungle and the space the guest house so gorgeous, with hammocks and a really cool outside common area. We met really lovely volunteers and guests whilst here. Even without a car it's possible to explore the north island with the electric bikes! We had many excursions and hope to come back!

Staying in the guest house was my favourite volunteering experience by far in my life. All the volunteers were super helpful and connection we created will last long, the work was not very difficult in terms of cleaning or painting, the only difficult part was sometimes building or cutting trees but I could always take it slow there. Taiga even though he doesn't speak perfect English the guest house super friendly and whenever we miss the words we used chat gpt to get common sense haha. There are cats, the sleeping conditions are rather simple but comfortable as hostel the guest house not very crowded Recommend
