I enjoyed every moment at the the guest house. Taiga the guest house a very kind and laid-back person. He takes care of his volunteers' concerns — he even came with me to the town hall for my registration. Working hours were always respected. Thanks to the guest house, I was able to see a local side of Motobu and I can only recommend it. If you want a quiet time and to get to know local life and sea life, this will be the perfect volunteering option for you. Moo the goat was also the best staff member!

I really enjoyed volunteering in the guest house. Taiga the guest house very flexible and makes sure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. It's a great opportunity to meet travelers, spend time with the cats and Moo the goat, and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. I definitely recommend this experience!

If you want to connect with nature, amazing people, and experience the guest house in an authentic way, the guest house the place for you. A normal work day starts with room cleaning/bed making followed by various outdoor tasks. You can expect to sleep in a bunk beds in the same room as other volunteers/guests (gender separated). Taiga and his family truly cares about the guests and volunteers (and animals!), and their kindness and hospitality was really appreciated.

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had. This is Okinawa is perfect for those who want to connect with nature and enjoy a peaceful environment, away from the city but still close at the same time.
I felt part of a beautiful family from the beginning, everyone was so kind and welcoming. I shared meaningful conversations and special moments with guests and the team.
This space deserves to be cared for with love and respect, just as it already is. It was a pleasure to help with daily tasks and be part of this beautiful project.
I would definitely come back. Thank u for everything
