I was a little disappointed with the higiene and confort, i had an alergic reaction to the sheets. The tasks were supposed to be focused on decoration and readjusting spaces to make it look better, after all I only cleaned rooms and bathrooms. When something didn't go as planned I was yelled at, the experience wasn't so good for me, although I think the personal circumstances didn't help.

My experience at the Hostel exceeded expectations. Arthur is a host who lives at the Hostel and participates in it 100%. He was very flexible with the schedules and the activities carried out. In the four years I have been traveling, it was the first time I saw a spacious setup that reserved exclusively a private room for volunteers, since in my journey there were three of us and each one had their own, including mine. In addition to being spacious, it even had a hammock. The Hostel is very rootsy, an alternative space, simple and full of affection and a lot of art. I would definitely return. Thanks Arthur for the experience ;)

I loved returning to Praieiro Hostel! I was able to help with cleaning and maintenance around the place and connect with lots of interesting people! Artur's proposal for affordable lodging where we can connect with other travelers and backpackers and that pursues sustainability through recycling materials in a very creative way is really great.

O Praieiro ArtHostel is a unique place! Committed to social and sustainable tourism, it offers accommodation at a very affordable price in simple spaces but lovingly thought out. The architecture and decoration based on reusing materials that many consider useless and disposable invite a look outside the standard and the numerous creative and artistic possibilities of reusing materials. I had the opportunity to work beyond cleaning, painting signs and planning improvements in waste separation and the implementation of a worm composting bin. I made many friends!! 🙂

An incredible volunteer experience with Artur at his hostel in Parnaíba. Good vibes, I had my own space to sleep and he lent me the kitchen without any problem. The tasks are simple and Artur is super flexible. I said I enjoy cleaning and organizing, and he adapted. He helped me with all the city information. Respectful and patient, especially because I don't speak Portuguese well. The hostel is an old house full of personality. Highly recommended. 🇧🇷😎🥳
