I had a great time here and was happy to help Rita with various tasks on her farm. Work was from 7 a.m. to noon, mainly electrical work, painting, and small repairs. Nothing was complicated, with no rush or overtime. After lunch, the rest of the day was free. Food was excellent, and volunteers have a comfortable private cottage with a kitchen. The ocean is only a 5-minute walk away, and the city center is about 15 minutes on foot. Practical skills in electrical work, plumbing, construction, or repairs are a big plus.
