My experience at the hotel Hostel was incredible! The accommodation is comfortable, with private rooms, great food, and a fair work arrangement. Russ and Amica are very kind, welcoming, and genuinely care about you. The location is perfect, close to Jesmond Dene, the city centre, and the Metro station. I was able to explore Newcastle and visit Edinburgh, York, and Durham. I truly felt at home here and would highly recommend it! I also loved when Amica's mum brought us homemade chicken curry with rice . it was absolutely delicious!

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel! The accommodation was comfortable, with my own room and private bathroom. My tasks were mainly cleaning the bar and its bathroom, pouring beers, collecting glasses and serving food. The working hours were respected and I had plenty of free time to explore Newcastle, which is easy to explore on foot (the hotel is only 20 minutes from the city centre) and visit Edinburgh thanks to a full day and a half-day off. Amica, Russ, Dan and all the bar staff were always kind, patient, and willing to explain things. I definitely recommend this place🫶

My experience at the hotel was great because I improved my English skills with free English classes at the public library near the hotel. Also, I met a lot of interesting people who were working there, and the locals are very friendly. This city is beautiful; there are beautiful buildings and places. Working out in the Dene Park every morning was my favorite activity. Amica and Russ are both owners and supervisors. They always make sure you do your best job; however, they helped me correct a lot of my errors. Tripta is a very kind person whom I would like to meet in person.

I had a good experience volunteering at Whites Hotel. Volunteers receive breakfast and, a daily, lunch or dinner, with flexibility to choose what and when to eat depending on their activities. Tasks included reception, housekeeping, vacuuming, preparing and clearing breakfast, washing dishes, collecting glasses from the bar, and laundry. I had great coworkers, especially Angela and Dan, and good fellow volunteers. Amica and Ross are committed to the hotel, and Amica is kind and understanding. I recommend this experience to anyone interested in hospitality.

My stay at the hotel was short for personal reasons, but the little time I spent there was great. Russ is a person who is always willing to help and to show the city's culture. Tripta is an amazing person with a very humane way of treating others. Even if we don't spend much time with her, it was enough to know that she is a good person. Newcastle has countless things to do and to visit. A good city to enjoy and relax at the same time
